Alister listened to Ignis, trying not to hyperventilate. This dude… He seemed to have no boundaries. But he didn’t try to move or say anything, he didn’t want to hurt him.
Noel didn’t respond to Ignis, simply mulling over his words before noticing her brother’s hopeless situation, and then Kali and Ignis’ position.
“I suppose love is in the air, isn’t it? Can I try to get it out so we can get going?”
"Awwwww noel are you feeling left out?" He pulls her into a hug with the both of them, a big group hug with the three of them. "come on you know you like it.~"
Ignis laughs and rolls his eyes at Noel's comment, "Alright! Kali has shotgun and we're off!" Ignis commands as he walks to the car with a set of keys magically appearing in his hands.
He lets the both of them go and walks towards the car with smiles.
Kali's blush has finally calmed down enough for her to not hide her face. She went around to the side of the car and opened the door getting in the seat. I can already tell the visor will be too short, good thing it isn't morning
Noel scowled, “I feel fine, thank you very much.” She walked over to car.
Alister quickly moves away from Evan, walking up to Noel. “Can I… just sit with you for now?”
“Sure, dork.“ Noel climbs in the car, her brother following behind.
Evan saw Alister move away, and he immediately started to think that he did something weird again, which nothing he did seemed wrong to him but I guess it was to them??? He was probably over thinking way too much but that was always the main thought on his mind as they all got in the car.
Ignis started the car and began to drive as the garage door opened. When they reached the main road, Ignis slowed. He turns to the others and smiles. He proceeds to press an unfamiliar button and every lining in the vehicle glowed. The windows began to change view as before they were close to town, now they were in a mysterious underground ruin with a waterfall in the background. The temple looked ancient yet completely intact, "What did you expect? Several day's drive?"
(It says I don't have permisson to view-)
She shrugged looking out the window. "I dunno, never visited any temples before besides maybe a school field trip I guess." she muttered.
(Try again. I think I fixed it)
Ignis looks at Kali, "Well by the laws of the elementals, this is technically your…house."
“Woah,” the siblings look around in awe.
Noel chuckled. “I didn’t know what to expect.”
They were sitting in the backs seats, the others in front of them. Noel sat with her legs crossed, one elbow resting on the window sill, her head resting on the hand. Her other arm lay on her lap. Alister’s left leg was tucked under the right, one resting on his knee and the other at his side. They both looked out of their respective windows, taking in the dark, cathedral-like temple.
"house? More like ancient ruins but okay. Might as well look around." She opened the door and got out and started looking around.
Evan got out as well, "yeah let's explore." He quickly left the car not really following Kali, just going in her general direction and looking around.
Ignis did as well. He motioned the others to follow. As they stepped outside, they took in the nature and beauty. Ignis walks over to Kali, "Many have travelled here for it's beauty. Many have tried to open the gates or even blow them down, just to see what lied inside. Are you prepared to be the first one to ever be inside? Not even Darkness herself has been inside."
"Woah." Evan let out a soft gasp at how beautiful it was, he walked over to the water flow and bent down to touch the water before standing up and looking at this whole place, he turned to Alister how cool he thought it was but stopped, worried he would be pushing his boundaries. He didn't want to make Alister uncomfortable, or make him think he was weird.
She wasn't smiling, but if you paid close attention to how she looked at it, she was internally smiling. "Yeah. I'm ready." She walked towards the door and put a hand on it. She took in the doors and its beautiful craftsmanship. "What do I have to do to open it?"
(If you would, tired is in the shower rn, so If you could wait that would be goochi)
Ignis leaned on a pillar near the wall. He observed the vines that stretched around the temple and connected to the forest that grew to make the beautiful scenery, "The temple was built in remembrance of Darkness. The lock was crafted by a special metal only activated through her magic. She was able to manipulate darkness to solidify a key, much like conjuring a weapon. The design of the key should be housed in you. Like a memory or vision. Close your eyes and just embrace the darkness. Let her show you what it truly means to be a child of darkness."
