Amara smiled, "Of course!"

Marlin quietly closed the door behind him and started walking back to the barracks.

"Hey Dork can you get out my phone and text my mom? I don't want to stop petting yin and yang." She said to daniel. "its in my pocket."

Ignis barely noticed Marlin leaving, trusting he would return, "Amara dear, I fear for my life and what anger you will have, but I must report the events of today." His expression grew dark and his hands shaking, "It's far worse than we thought."

He pulled her phone out of her pocket and spoke “password?”

she put her finger on her phone and it unlocked. There was a message on it from someone labelled stepdad. 'we need to talk, now.' she snuggled the pups. "Do i have any new messages?"

“One from your stepdad other than that I don’t thinks so he said he needs to talk to you” he said the last bit with some concern because he knew something was wrong

She froze as soon as she heard step dad, the same expression as when the nightmares were projected was on her face.

“ hey are you okay” he got closer to her he was truly concerned and to see her afraid like that hurt him on the inside because he wanted to help her

She didnt respond, she just stood there. Terror, and panic overwhelmed her as she tried not to squeeze the dogs tight. She was stuck in a bad memories, a flashback from the past.

He could tell she was terrified he stepped closer and rapped one arm around her “what is wrong I can help you okay” he had concern and fear for her written over his face

Her small body cowered in the corner of a darkly lit barely furnished room. She was covering her mouth with her small hands shaking in fear. Her step dad approached her with a sickening grin on his face, He crouched in front of her. She was half hiding in the darkness, but he could still see her. He reached out his hand to her face and grasped her chin with his hands roughly dragging her out into the light. She tried to pull away from him sqeaking out, she tried to call out for her mom tears streaking down her face, he put his other hand over her mouth muffling her. "Tell your mother about any of this, and it will be your fault. I will leave her broken hearted and both of her divorces and her broken hearts will be all your fault. do you understand?" She nodded shakily. He moved the hand from her mouth and she was silent. He let go of her and walked downstairs leaving her to cry alone in the darkness.

she let go of the dogs trembling as tears gathered in her eyes, she hugged daniel back tightly the teas streaming down her cheeks. the flashback having ended leaving her sobbing into daniels chest.

Ignis stared at Kali, seeing the horror on her face, similar to that of the woods, "Daniel, step away." he looked at Amara and her face knew what he was going to ask, "Please. She's annoying but her heart means well. We can trust the both of them. They are uncorrupted."

kali begged daniel quietly not to leave her.

Daniel grasped the girl in his arms and he spoke to her “hey are you there it is Daniel I am here okay” he wanted to reassure and help her but he didn’t know how

"Im here…just….dont leave me..'Her voice cracked a little bit as she spoke to daniel hugging him tightly.

Amara kneels down next to Kali, her eyes fading into white and her palm glowing with a white glow, "Allow me to ease the pain…"

Ignis looks at Daniel, "You needn't go far, you just can't have any physical contact. This would cause damage on any she isn't helping."

“For how long” his grip loosened a bit he didn’t want to let her go but he had to after he could hold her again he knew he could let her go ever again

she flinched away from amara a little bit, but she let go of daniel.

He let go too but he hated doing it he got as close as he could without interfering and stared into her eyes understanding the emotions underneath

Amara smiled and gently touched her forehead, "relax…" Then a wave of white washed over Kali, her every muscle relaxed and her thoughts purged. Every negative emotion was cleared and her tears had faded, this took only a few seconds. She released Kali and replied, "It was nothing extravagant, just a bad memory. She will be fine now."

she cleared her throat. "Thanks, Im going to head upstairs don't worry I wont go past the six floor." She glanced at daniel before going up the stairs.

He wanted to follow her should he no but he won’t be able to sleep maybe he would just look at the stars from his room at least he hoped he could “what to do what to do” he whispered to himself not on purpose it was a subconscious action he kept looking blankly at where she had left in deep though about what he should do next he really wanted to comfort her but he didn’t want to be creepy
