She had just zoned back in and had no idea what they were talking about she felt his hand in hers and saw his blushing face and blushed as well trying to hide her blush by darkening her face so hey couldn't see her blush. "Dork." she muttered flustered. "welcome back idiot." she huffed at ignis.
Ignis laughs, "It's alright. Anyways…." He begins to look all around his pants and shirt, "It's gone!"
He looked down at her and smiled “what should I call you then if you call me dork” he smiled at her his other hand brushed hers but he pulled it to his side and blushed even more As an after though he spoke again “that’s good” his voice was a little shaky because of how embarrassed he felt
"what's gone?" she looked at ignis slight tilt of the head. she blushed a little as she felt his other hand touch hers. she was very awkward with romance stuff so she didn't know what to do or say. "Dont do anything sappy or lovey-dovey like googoo bear or honey bear." she made a fake gaging motion. "dont do princess either."
"My stone!" Ignis started to freak, his only and last connection to his past, "It's a rare jewel called Dragon Eye. It is one of the four ancient stone crafted by the life elemental given to the Elders! It…was my mother's."
"oh…i think i know what happened to it…" she sighed. "When you see us free from the thing it exploded. or least that's what I think happened to it." she leaned on Daniel a little bit.
He noticed her leaning on him and he had no idea what to do that single act took possession of his mind and a thousand ideas of what to do in response appeared he spoke “fine princess shortstack”
"Eeeeeww what is that monstrusaicty that just came out of your mouth. Thats it no more affection for you dork." she stopped leaning on him taking her hand away from him.
Ignis felt relieved. He wanted to leave by himself to find the stone, and leave the two to their business. Frankly he felt angry inside, he felt lost and upset. "Look I need fresh air. It's getting lat-"
He chuckled what Kali said “kali I will come up with a nickname soon okay” he smiled at her after saying that
"Dude how much fresher could the air get? we are literally in the forest. I get its getting late but I think we should stick together." she didn't want to go home tonight, like she reaaalllyyy didnt.
“ what’s wrong” he could obviously tell something was wrong and he didn’t want to see her in anguish he moved closer to you
"Shh!" Ignis seemed curious
"Im….not gonnaa go home tonight, i cant. so I figured if we all stayed together I would have a excuse to tell my mom." she placed a hand on her neck looking at the sky.
"It's…dark out already!" Ignis was confused, it was merely afternoon a few minutes ago.
"Okay and?…" she looked at daniel. "is he okay?…."
"There are no clouds and unless you're doing this," He looks up, "This is the Shadow's work!"
“ We need to get out of this forest first i think it is mainly an illusion” he looked around but every few seconds he would just focus on her again
"I have never made darkness at that high a level before so I doubt its me." she looked up at the sky noticing it being dark and no clouds which kinda made her think they were over reaction. "You sure you arent panicking for no reason? i mean we need to think rationally." she glanced at him and found her looking at him and looked away feeling his gaze and blushing.
He turned away and blushed as well he wished he could just keep looking at her he just was lost in his own mind thinking of her
In her own way she was deep in thought as well, thinking about everything that was gin on and honestly the most unbelievable thing was daniel. He didn't pull away from her and was a hue dork that didn't mind how she acted. which was a first, she really hoped he would stay…she sighed. "what if the elders were the bad guys?" she whispered.
"That's not you asking," Ignis spoke boldly, "It's them."
“Well even if they were those guys are too look what they did to you and me and ignis and it wasn’t out of self defense” he kept starring down at her somehow he was unable to hide a dorky smile from his face
"They told you how the Elders were mean and enslaving," Ignis laughed, "Figures."
