Amara looked at Ignis with a deep sigh, "It took three years to show my ability to you. I needed to trust you after your deal with the Shadows. And now you force me to help those two and how many others? Within the manner of an hour, I am forced to help that girl? What kind of hell did you lot go to?!"
Ignis looked down with guilt, "A….Astra's seal is broken. He is free once more." his voice trembled with fear, "He took my Eternal Flame. He is after us. After them. I told them it was Arcanis, But we both know who he really is. And what he is capable of…"
“ I am just going to go to my room “ he started to head up to his room still engrossed in thought
Marlin didn't go home. Instead he sent Lissa a text and went back to the forest to take pictures of the seal. Ignis was right, he didn't know anything about elementals, but he could learn. Or try to at least. He glared at his new shoes, which were now covered in ash from trying to put out the fire. "This is your fault you know." he said out loud.
As night flew by, Ignis and Amara spent all night reviewing the events of the previous day. They argued and fought. Kali had troubles with the pups as they attempted to keep her awake. Yin always bit her hair while Yang just sat on her whining, placing her paw on her chin every so often. All Ignis could think was how powerful an elemental had to be in order to fully break the seal instantly. As morning rose, the darkness outside remained. They could see the sun but dismissed it as the moon. Ignis began reading a book with an unfamiliar text as Amara called for their guests for breakfast.
Marlin didn't sleep very well that night. He'd spent most of his time looking for answers. The only things he'd found online was an antique store that was supposedly haunted downtown, and the page for the annual Halloween festival.
Ignis appeared near Marlin, ever slightly smiling, "I admire your curiosity."
Marlin cursed and fell out of his chair "WHAT THE HECK. DON'T DO THAT."

"Astral Projection." Ignis laughed, "We should talk in person. I may not have every answer, but can supply more than the internet."
Kali didnt sleep very well either, between nightmares, the pups trying to keep her awake and her ever present trouble with sleeping she manged maybe a few minutes. she rubbed her eyes when she walked down or up the stairs to where breakfast was. She rubbed her eyes, not looking either Amara or ignis in the eyes. she was hoping that daniel would have followed her but he never showed up. She didnt think he would show anyway. despite amara dispelling he negative emotions last night they always plaiged her. Her step dad had been trying to contact her all night, she couldn't stand it so she chucked her phone out the window.
"Fine. Fine. I'm coming." he grumbled grabbing his hoodie. "I need to leave a note." he scribbled a few lines on a sheet of paper, threw it on the table and glared at Ignis, "I meant it when I said you were creepy." he said starting down the street, "You seriously shouldn't do that."
Ignis smiled, he grabbed Marlins arm, felt so real. "I trust whatever information I reveal, you will keep it a secret until your dying breath."
(I am confused is it night or not)
(No. But ever since the seal was broken the skies remained dark.)

He walked down the stairs not able to sleep at all he regretted not going to kali he hoped he didn’t mess up anything by doing this he just noticed kali was there and he stumbled on the last step and fell he slowly stood up and and rubbed his head “hi there”
"hey dork, did you get any sleep last night?" she turned around to look at rubbing her eyes again.
"I've got a big mouth, so I'm not making a promise I can't keep." said Marlin pulling his arm away from Ignis "But I can promise to try."
“Nope I was… Nevermind” he decided against saying that he was thinking about talking to her through the night he just walked over and rubbed his eyes “do they have coffee
Ignis laughs at Marlin, "Fair enough." he fades away.
Amara walks downstairs, wearing a pink tank top and slim jeans. A pink rose headband holding her wavy hair back, "Breakfast here is open menu. Feel free to request any meal, or feel glad to make what you wish."
"you know you can tell me," she mumbled, "I hope they do, or else im going to pass out." she yawned. "i got like a few minutes of sleep at most." she stretched accidentally punching him in the process. "Oh sh- sorry."
"Get me a drink as dark as my soul."
He chuckle “well I wanted to talk to you and I was thinking about it all night” he blushed after saying this and just hid his face from her “I can help” he looked over at amara “you let us stay here and ignis saved my life” ehe was sincere he knew how to cook some stuff and he wanted to help how ever he could to make it up to them
Amara stares at her confused, she whispers, "That's why…" She snaps out of it, "I apologize. I don't quite understand …"
After Ignis disappeared Marlin checked to see if anyone was watching them. Nothing. He kept walking to the apartment building, looking behind him every so often. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
He walked over “do you have any coffee” he didn’t notice what she had whispered to herself but he was tired and he needed some coffee Or he wouldn’t be able to function the rest of the day
