(Alright)
(Alright)
"hmm? Yes. I… believe so. Maybe? It's like a sudden space out. I guess I'm more forgetful than I thought." Ignis turns to Kali with a soft smile, "magic and overuse of my elements can do that."
"well then dont overuse your elements dumb butt" she grumbled at him, but he knew she cared. "i dont want you to pass out from overuse, i wouldn't be able to carry you."
Ignis chuckles, "Oh yeah? It's nice to think you'd try and carry me." As they ventured forth, Ignis twists his hand slightly, and created a mirror image of himself falling unconscious next to Kali without warning. Using his shadow abilities, he bent the shadow around him in time to hide.
(Can someone remind me who has which element(s)? I have the story remembered but I forgot. Amara isn't with the group, and yes, I'll still do Ignatius.)
(Kali has darkness, Evan is sound)
(Alister and Noel are wind children)
"Yeah I would, I'm not just gonna leave you here. I need you here as well so.." She looked away as he did his thing and looked back and seeing the mirror image of him fall, and she moved to catch him. "Ignis!"
With a mischievous laugh, He emerges behind Kali, "In all my years training in ways of magic, I just couldn't resist." The image fades in her arms.
(Does anyone remember which of them has a combination of elements?)
(Noel has a lot of abilities with air, but kali is the only one with multiple besides Ignis.)
She quickly moves from where she was, and crossed her arms, embarrassed. she was a light pink from embarrassment.
"Ignis!" She huffed at him.
"What did I say about over using your abilities?" She huffed at him.
"To not do it. Luckily, manipulation on light and dark aren't as difficult." Ignis coughs just slightly, "Mastery over them is more difficult. Luckily the crystals make it possible to merge abilit-" He stops. Hesitantly, he hugs Kali, "I suppose I did overdo it. Don't worry, illusion magic isn't as hard as Arcanis wants us to believe."
She got worried when she heard the cough, but even more so when he stopped mid sentence and moved to hug her. She hugged him right back, but still look at him with a concerned glance. "I told you not too, now please don't do anything to show off. Don't do anything abilities wise unless necessary alright? I'm perfectly capable of protecting us myself."
"Okay." They continue to wander without further jokes. Ignis's flame began to flicker the closer they reached the others, "Is…Is it getting colder?"
(Alister also has multiple skills when it comes to air, but it hasn’t figured them out yet. Noel hasn’t figured hers out either tbh)
(thanks for letting me know!)
(Mhm)
She was getting nervous as ignis's flame was flickering, but she didn't let it show to igmis. Wanting to put on a brave face.
"Yeah..it does feel that way.'
Ignis's eyes began to glow, "Careful Dark, Air is close. We must run at the first sign of trouble." Ignatius's voice overtakes Ignis'. "Ignis was not wrong, they do not like our presence in their temples. Not after what I did…"
"Why run? We can't run away if we need to make it to our friends through here. I won't abandon them for the sake of saving my own skin."
The temperature of the belly of the temple was cool, but wavering. There seemed to be a residual anxiety in the atmosphere. Whenever the temperature became warmer, the atmosphere seemed to hold echoes of rage. Air was near, but faint.
In a scary mix of both Ignatius's rough voice and Ignis's lighter and smoother voice, "If you only knew what they were capable of doing." Ignis's eye return but his expression with nothing but darkness. His eyes did not meet Kali's even when they were faced. He turns in the direction of the cold, he whispers a broken message, "Over the millennia, having memories isn't always fun to have…"
Her eyes widened at the joined voice, but something she both hated and scared her was the fact that Ignis's eyes were full of darkness they had no soul to them. She fought the urge not to panic from what she saw going on infront of her.
"I can't imagine it would be."
Evan groaned softly as he stirred, his mouth felt even more dry then it did before despite the amount of saliva in his mouth. He look around the area and noticed both alister and Noel asleep and laying down, he must have passed out and alister carried him all the way here instead of Noel.
He was extremely thankful for the both of them, and while it felt a whole lot better now then it did earlier he didn't think he would make it out of the without there help.
He wished he could better help alister in That moment instead of passing out and becoming more of a burden to the group. At least he helped to find the altar..
He moved to poke alister and Noel to wake them up, but as he did so he felt himself growing tired again and falling asleep on top of the group in a way.
They ventured further within Air's temple, fully aware of the force that observed them. Ignis remained quiet, regardless of Kali's best efforts to break the deafening silence. His eyes remained dark as his intent to find their allies grew. Eventually coming across Noel, Evan and Allister. Ignis, relieved in finding them, remained at a distance.
