Cicada put the fire out, "It's scaring me!"
Cicada put the fire out, "It's scaring me!"
"A shame too, I wanted to bring him back with me. He's so sweet,"
"If you do he stays on your half of the dorm," Cicada still slowly moving away from the spider.
"Are you actually that freaked out over something that can't even hurt you? Geez fine," he lowered his hand to the ground, "Run along," the spider looked up at him with almost sad goodbye eyes as it walked away slowly, looking back at him as he did so. "I think you hurt his feelings, look how sad he looks,"
"I hate spiders," Cicada said as she watched the spider walk away, "Are you seriously begging me to keep the spider?"
"I don't think Fredrick would like him anyway," Dalton sighed, "He isn't much for spiders either,"
"Fred-rick?" Cicada asked him slowly starting to walk down the hall again.
"He's my Raven. Very good bird," Dalton smiled at Cicada.
"Oh a raven?" Cicada grinned back, "That's fine. A great bird in fact."
"You like birds? Good because you couldn't get me to get rid of him. He's kind of the only thing I have left," he looked down at his feet.
"Oh," Cicada repeated glancing at the wall, "I mean birds a lot better. They eat insects and insects suck."
"Just don't tell anyone. They try to kill him all the time," he looked back up at her, "Do you have siblings?"
Cicada shrugged her eyes grew hollow, "Eh, technically no. Besides they're all dead now."
"Oh… I'm sorry," he looked at her hands, "Fire?" You can't ask that! You can't just say that! This is why you have no friends… Prepare to be alone for life.
"Yeah, fire," Cicada started walking slightly faster as she shook her head slightly, "Come on let's find the library."
"Right," he sighed. Shouldn't have asked.
"So do you have any siblings?" Cicada asked. You ask me I ask you."
"I di– Yeah I do…" I broke him but he's my brother still.
"That's nice," Cicada didn't push further. She kept looking around for the library, or anyone.
"Sure I guess," he sighed, "That sign says the library is around the corner."
Cicada saw the sign and walked around the corner, "Right. Do you like books or just want to see if we can find some hidden shit?"
"Yes to both of them,"
"Wonderful," Cicada said looking around the library, "Now where to start."
"The hole in the wall,"
"That would be a great place to start."
