Cicada looked around, "Shall we go find the best areas to hide? In this dirty old library."
Cicada looked around, "Shall we go find the best areas to hide? In this dirty old library."
"Definitely!" he said almost excitedly, "In a place this old there's probably like secret doors or something!"
Vien sat there for a moment, staring down at his hands awkwardly. "Do you like coffee? I thought I saw a c-café on my way here," he said. It was out of character for him to be social at all, but he needed to make some sort of a good impression
"Yeah," Cicada grinned, "Maybe we'll find like some secret torture room or something."
“Yeah, I like coffee, you wanna go to the café you saw?” Wess asked as he stood up.
Tristan closed the book and slid it back onto the shelf, deciding that it didn't interest him. He sighed, continuing to walk down the seemingly endless rows of books.
(Er, who will I be sharing with?)
"Umm, yeah! If we're lucky!" Dalton smiled and followed Cicada.
Vien nodded. He went to walk towards the door, but he found he just couldn't leave his satchel behind. He grabbed it out of his duffel bag, slinging it across his chest as he walked towards the door
Cicada explored some of the rows, "Nothing here. But this is a pretty unnoticeable spot."
Dalton nodded and looked up, the ceilings were incredibly high and the bookshelves went almost all the way up. He wondered vaguely how they could reach the books that were all the way at the top.
Wess followed Vien out. He was happy he made a new friend, well, acquaintance, at least. Wess took note of all the turns they made, Wess knew he’d probably need to make it to the café for multiple occasions.
Tristan swore he heard voices coming from his right, but he decided to ignore them. That was rule number twenty three in his book; don't follow random voices.
Vien held the door open for Wess, walking slowly since he knew he had a tenancy to speedwalk. "So…Is it too forward of m-me to ask what you're here for?" he asked, trying to make conversation as they wandered through the halls
Cicada looked back at the main aisle, "Shall we continue exploring?"
Dalton's attention returned to Cicada, "Sure."
(I’m debating whether or not Wess should have an angsty backstory… what do y’all think?)
Cicada moved out of the way, "You take the lead."
(well I'm partial to angst so go for it. it makes for a good conversation starter, and Vien would probably be great with bonding over tragic backstories lol)
(Question one: Who is Penny going to room with? Question two: how can I bring Penny into this?)
(Okie gimme a sec!)
Dalton walked past her simultaneously looking at everything he passed until eventually, he found a small place in the bookshelf that was cut out creating a cubby hole that was big enough for one person, "You should go in…" He said looking at Cicada.
Cicada crossed her arms and huffed, "Because I'm small?"
"That is about 70% of the reason, the other being I value my life over yours." he said pointing to the hole, "Also you have fire so when it's dark you can see."
Cicada glared at him, "Just so we're clear I suggested this."
She climbed into the cubby.
