The two kept walking until Dalton found what he thought was the source. A large, metal vault door with pictures of each clan's mascot imprinted into the steel. "I think it's in there."
Cicada grinned, "Well let's get in!"

Cicada grinned, "Well let's get in!"
Dalton laughed, thinking now wasn't a good time for a That's what she said joke. "Yeah, let's go."
Cicada walked up to the vault door. She looked around for the way to open it.
"Wait, there's writing on it." Dalton drew closer to the door to read it, "That is not English." He sighed trying to read it out loud. With every word he struggled through a new bead of yellow light appeared on the door lighting up the mascots.
“So, the weather am I right…?” Wess asked, trying to fill the awkward silence, but he had a feeling he had just made it more awkward.
Cicada watched as the mascot lit up, "Keep going! I think it's working."
Dalton smiled, "I know this I think," He stepped back and continued talking in the language as if he knew it. The light filled patterns around the circular vault door until it faded and the door creaked open.
Cicada smiled as the vault opened. She pulled it open wider, "After you."
Dalton groaned but didn't protest any further, it was his turn. He stepped through the door and then stopped, amazed at what he saw, it was huge. Carved into stone on the far wall in front of him were all four clan mascots, each had a running waterfall that fell into a pool underneath, the water was perfectly clear.
Cicada followed after, "Woah. This is cool. I wonder what this is for?"
"Fancy swim team." Dalton joked
Cicada laughed, "Maybe. It seems more like a place spirits would live. Maybe it is where spirits live."
"Who's spirits?" Dalton said still looking around. The place seemed to be lit with natural light but he couldn't tell where it came from.
"Maybe the founders of this place?" Cicada suggested, "It would match up with the aesthetic of this place."
"That's likely." another rat scampered around his feet, "Maybe we should get out of here and come back later."
Cicada looked at him. Her hand went to her hip, "Are you scared?"
"No like I said I'm just-" He stopped talking when he heard a deep grumble that echoed through the room.
Cicada looked around, "Where did that come from? Let's check it out."
Dalton backed up, "That sounds like a horrible decision that will 100% get us killed."
Another grumble came after that but it sounded like more of a roar now.
(Is the roar loud? I want to know if Tristan would hear it from where he is)
Cicada lit both her hands on fire, "Oh come on. Where's your sense of adventure? This could be our chances to get a leg above everyone else!"
(It's underneath the school so I don't know unless Tristan is in the library.)
(Yeah he's in the library…maybe he'll hear a small noise)
"Where's your common sense!" He said running after her reluctantly, "You're going to get us killed."
"I lost that a long time ago," Cicada grinned wickedly, "I like to think it burned away.'
