"Ian, what have I done?" she asked, trembling.
"Ian, what have I done?" she asked, trembling.
"Shh… Its ok… Dont worry about that now…" Ian tries to be soothing but is failing miserably
"How- how many of them did I… kill?" Akyra asked. "How long did it take me to lose control?"
"Uh… You know what? What a lovely (Day? Night?) What do you say? Nice weather?"
Akyra glared at him through her tears. "Ian, please. Just tell me."
"No." He barks sharply
"Why? Was it that bad? Oh stars…"
"Stars? Oh yeah." Ian looks up at the sky
She scrubbed at her cheeks as she looked at the sky.
"I promised myself the day Ames rescued me that I would never use my powers like that again," she said quietly. "Guess I broke that promise."
Ian sighs exasperatedly
Akyra blinked and looked at him. "What?"
"Could you just relax for one second? Take it easy."
"Pfft. I don't think that word is in my vocabulary."
"Obviously." Ian stands, half dropping Akyra
Akyra stumbles. "Woah!"
Ian sighs, walking over to his dropped sniper, "C'mon. DOwn to the medic tent. Lets go.
"I'm fine!" she insisted, stumbling a few steps. "I just need to get to my bunk."
"No. Your comin with me." He grabs her upper arm and guides her toward the entrance
"Fine," she grumbled, stumbling along side him.
Ian nods and wraps her arm around his shoulders
Akyra leaned on him as they headed down the stairs. Once they got to the medic tent she sat down on a bunk.
"Soooo… now what?" she asked softly as she anxiously looked around at the other occupants of the tent.
Ian sighs, "Now. You lay down and rest." He picks up a blanket and draps it over her shoulders
"I could have rested in my bunk, ya know," she grumbled.
Ian shakes his head, "It's better here so we can keep an eye on you"
"Why would you need to keep an eye on me? I'm medically trained, too. I can take care of myself."
