"how are you doing on supplies?" she asked in an attempt to make normal conversation.
"how are you doing on supplies?" she asked in an attempt to make normal conversation.
"Suplise?" He looks over at the nurses and patients, "We're fine… Are you ok?"
"I- I don't know, Ian."
"Huh? You ok?" Ian reaches down beside him and picks up a book from the side of his bunk
(Okay, I'm back!!! I'll post in a sec.
Ian and Akyra are cute, btw.)
"I feel like a monster," she said softly after a long pause. "I know you and Ames would probably disagree, but look what I did to those soldiers. Even if they were King's Men, they probably didn't deserve what I did to them. Plus, I don't even remember most of it."
(yay!)
Amethyst checked on wounded warriors, helped clean up the battlefield, and then got her wounds looked at by one of the medics. Once she all patched up, she walked back to her office and sat down in her high-tech spinny chair. It had so many nobs and buttons and switches that she didn't even know what half of them did.
She sighed as she sank down, shutting her eyes momentarily.
"Hey. C'mon. You saved all of our lives." Ian tries but half his mind where on his book
(Hi!)
"Yeah…" she could tell he was distracted. He's probably really busy, I should leave him alone.
"Hey, Ian, I'll let you go. You're busy and I don't want to bother you, 'kay? I'll talk to you later when everything's calmed down."
She put down her transmitter and looked up at the ceiling.
Why am I making such a big deal out of this? I don't want to bother Ian and Ames, they have enough to deal with without my nervous ranting.
Ian closes his eyes, dropping the book and the transmitter with a sigh
Amethyst had thought that she had only closed her eyes for a moment, but she woke up almost an hour later, leaning back in her seat with her feet curled underneath her. She groaned, knowing that she still had things to take care of, and that she should probably talk to her cousin about what she had done during the battle.
Pulling out her comms device, she called Akyra.
"Hey, Ames, what's up?" Akyra said, answering her transmitter.
(helloooo)
(Im here but Ian's sleeping and yeah… Awkwardness)
(Akyra runs in. "WAKEUP IAN IT'S TIME TO RP!!!")
(Hahah!)
(SORRY, I was busy and then I was at work!!!)
"How're you doing, Akyra?" Amethyst asked worriedly. "Everything good?"
"Meh, I've been better. It's been a wild day," Akyra responded tiredly. "What about you? Is there anything I can do to help with anything?"
Ian slowly opens his eyes then shoots out of bed, "Ah shit! I fell asleep!" He dashes into the medic tent. Everything was silent and dark. All of the patients, nurses, and doctors where all fast asleep. He huffs in relief.
Amethyst sighed, flipping through glowing files in the air.
"Not that I can think of. I just wanted to make sure you were okay," she replied. "Anything I can do for you?"
Akyra got up and started pacing her small room
"Amethyst, cuz, I… need advice," she said, then immediately wondered if this was a good idea.
"What about?" Amethyst asked, leaning back in her chair. She accidentally pressed a button, and a massage started.
Woah. That's awesome.
Ian waltses through the rows of snoring humans, checking vitals and what not. He was also checking to make sure the nurses and doctors where alright as well. All seemed to be in order.
