James wondered how he had come back to life. He knew he had drowned, he felt the water enter his lungs and kill him. But somehow he was alive. How would he tell his sister? She was living in London, in the middle of a successful career, miles away from his old outpost in America. She wouldn't want to visit where his death had taken place either way. But for now, he should stick to worrying about how the flopping pancakes he had survived.

Kristine flinches at the seaweed (If it was her). She feels up to it then makes a face at the other girl, "Ok you cant really tell me to chill. I just drowned, was resurrected and going to die again -if that's evenn possible- during this crazy, whacked up mission." Kristine snarls.

@icecubes

(yall,,, remember,,,, four sentences minimum,,, and only reply if it's your turn bc y'all skipped me thanks ok)

@icecubes

My eye flickered back and forth between the two arguing girls. I waved my hand, trying to get their attention. With a calm voice, I spoke, "Hey, wait, let's settle down. None of us know any more than you do, so we must all be in the same situation! Right? We shouldn't jump to any conclusions!" I smiled sincerely, hoping the two would quiet down so that Myst could answer more of our questions. Meredith seemed rather desperate if she is recruiting complete strangers, I almost pitied her.

( @FireSky @The Runner the rules clearly state that you must wait your turn before posting a second time. It allows for everyone to be included and also progresses the story. The rules also clearly state that each post should have a minimum of 4 sentences excluding dialogue/quote. This also encourages a more fleshed out role play and just is a good minimum for role plays for many reasons. If you read the rules, you would have known that there is a turn system as well as a minimum for each post. )

There was a bit of an awkward silence before anyone spoke, as if thinking about it. I understand they may need time to take this all in, but the vibes they gave off made me uneasy. They didn't seem dedicated in any way; at least some of them didn't.
"I suppose so." Tara mumbled, avoiding eye contact. I nod gently at her as a reassurance.
"Potential? Trustworthy?" Kristine chimed in, confused yet again. "I still don't know where I am. The rest of you look like you do. Care to elaborate?" I sigh heavily, wondering how many times I'd have to repeat myself to her.
"I thought I made it quite clear. This is my house, in the underwater land. We're going to fight an organization that poses a potential threat to underwater land. Are you caught up now?"
Lee Ace spoke up.
"Hey, wait, let's settle down. None of us know any more than you do, so we must all be in the same situation! Right? We shouldn't jump to any conclusions!"
I grin at Lee Ace and look at the others.
"Right, we are all in the same situation, with your confusion you're about to make me as clueless as you. Listen, there's no way to contact the outside world, and I understand this might be a bit quick for you, but it might be easier if you settle in and get used to it."
Meredith raised her eyebrows.
"Myst, you could have put it more, I don't know, softly?"
I shrug my shoulders at her, huffing a sigh.
"Sugarcoating hasn't worked so far, I thought I'd try something new."
I turn back to everyone else.
"So does everyone know what's going on or do you need it in writing?"

James contemplated on how to tell her he hadn't been listening. This was going to be awkward. Of course, he could just pretend he knew. But lying would be dishonest. But being dishonest is the point of lying, of course.

(Yes but I’m not sure who does first or second. I’ve never done a turn by turn rp so forgive if idk what I am doing.)

(Same i havent either.)

( @FireSky @The Runner for a turn by turn system, the idea is that

  1. The initial rp is posted to start off
  2. Everyone posts once as a reply, this order is not predetermined *unless the leader does predetermine the order, but I did not.
  3. After everyone has posted for the first time, an order has formed.
  4. Everyone should keep that order going to avoid confusion and/or skipping other role players.

The order on this particular rp is:

  1. @Aloe Vera
  2. @JellyBeanIris (Who has been grounded unfortunately, so we may have to continue on without for awhile. If they return soon enough, they can try to catch up.
  3. @The Runner
  4. @BBC_Fangirl
  5. @FireSky
  6. @icecubes

Hope this clears things up for you :) )

@icecubes

(okay guys change of plans,,, since the order seems a little too difficult, the rule is just post only once after @Aloe Vera 's post. so it doesn't rlly matter what order as long as it's one post after the leader! is that easier guys?)

@icecubes

Everyone's frustration began to make me nervous. If I'm dead and being recruited to fight some traitors, I would prefer to work with people who could remain calm. However, I suppose everyone has their own way of dealing with death. I tried to remain calm, hoping that it would make someone here feel better. "I'm good, thank you, Myst. I just want to know more about this organization, and how they are a threat exactly. You know, the details and whatever. Also, what we'll do to fight the evil group."
I glanced around at the others, anxious at how they'll react to my optimism.
