Howdy this is an idea I've been holding on to for years and really want to execute it. The basics are that you drowned, entered into a mysterious underwater kingdom, and are now being asked by the merciful queen to help save her people. I'm going to provide as much information as I can in this introducing post, and I will also include the link to the original role play that never really got the chance to take off. All I ask is that you make sure to read everything, as it will provide with as much information as I can think of and thus improve your role playing experience. First, I'm going to start with the intro. This is just a copy of the intro from the original post, because that's what I have set in stone.

You drowned. You were playing in the ocean on an innocent vacation at the beach, or you were out fishing with your father, but something happened. Something…grabbed you. It pulled you down, deeper, to the drop where you can't see the bottom of the ocean. It's pitch black, and the pressure on your body gets heavier and heavier. You're starting to run out of air. Your body can't take the pressure, it's about to cave in on itself when…

You wake up. You're still under water, but you're somehow at the very bottom of the ocean. It's dark, you're scared, confused, and cold. Then you hear a few voices.

"Do you know where you are? You are dead. You're in the deepest pits of hell, to the point where there's no more fire. Just cold, dark, sharp icy water. There's no esc-"
"Raz, will you stop scaring the newbie? The poor thing is so confused. "

A gentle hand rests on your shoulder, a light following as you see a face. It's that of a male, a soft man's face, with a friendly smile, and innocent eyes. Following behind him is another male, with sharp proportions, slicked back silvery hair, and thin eyes, almost like a snake, except they both had gills. You had many questions, to say the least.

"I'm sorry about Raz, he's always been a troublemaker, I wouldn't trust him. My name is Brent. Raz's and my job is to introduce you to Araxie. Call it what you will, the underwater world, non-mermaids, Atlantis, whatever. But this is your new home. Governed by the one and only Meredith, protector of the Sea, lover of all. She'd love to meet you, I'll take you to her."

Brent wraps one arm around you and leads you into a more messy, but somehow organized area, the shape of what might be houses and other buildings beginning to come into view. Brent leads you this way and that, telling you about everything in the town.

"That right there is my favorite place for drinks. Cornelia's Liquor. Man, you should try it sometime. You're over 19, right? Anyway, this way to the castle."

To wrap things up, you meet the queen. She's beautiful, she's kind, you two click with each other almost immediately, she's just that kind of person. She helps you to your new dwelling area. A beautiful house with a calming aesthetic. She tells you that you are always welcome to join her in her castle. At one point, when you two are alone, she tells you about what's going on behind the curtain.

"Someone doesn't agree with my decisions as a queen. They've started a rebellion against us, and I don't want any lives to be lost, but they seem like they are a bit violent. I can feel the potential in you, I know you can help me."

You start to consider it until she adds,

"Also, this isn't a one person job. You'll need a partner. Maybe a whole team. I've already found one for you."

She leads you through the town once again, receiving many respectful bows and greetings from the civilians. She brings you to the doorstep of an interesting looking house, knocks on the door, and the person on the other side opens it, revealing to you this quite peculiar character.

Okay, so that right there should help ease you into what's going on. Here is the link to the original role play. If you ask any questions in your role play that were asked in the original role play, the answers will be the same.

Next, we have the rules of posting. You'll have 3 strikes. Once you lose all your strikes, I'll ask you to leave.

-No Mary Sues
-You cannot control another character or take another character's life
-Each post must be at least 4 sentences long. (This excludes dialogue)
-You do not have a convenient death ray in your back pocket. It's okay if your character can not fix something.
-Please do not start role playing until you have posted your form filled out with your character (and until I have accepted).
-Please wait until I start the initial post to start role playing.
-PLEASE wait your turn before you post again! Everyone must have a chance to contribute before you continue. Let there be a pattern to form, and remember who posts before you.

Name: Myst Blaire
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Personality: Myst is a leader and enjoys being in control of the situation. While she can be critical of others and occasionally a little too bossy, she is a strong willed girl with a heart of gold. Myst is not afraid to let you know her opinion and will fight for her beliefs with no hesitation.
Short bio: Myst was taking a bit of a vacation. She was stressed, overworking herself, and was about to snap mentally when her friend suggested she go to the beach. Myst rented a sail boat, ran into the water, and finally relaxed. She was breathing peacefully with a clear mind when she leaned over to look at the water, and something grabbed her. She doesn't remember much of her life before she joined Araxie, but she does remember her final moments on the surface.
Appearance: Myst Blaire has a heart shaped face with bright brown eyes, and long black hair. She normally wears crop tops and shorts, but on occasion she'll wear tight sweaters tucked into yoga pants.

Skills: Myst took a few years of fencing for fun, but it grew into other lessons for sword fighting. She also knows a little bit of hand-to-hand combat because of the self-defense lessons she took, but not nearly as much as she knows sword fighting.
Weaknesses: Myst is sensitive, but hides it well. Myst is also quite jumpy. Little noises startle her easily and she tends to squeal out of fear of small things.
Other: Myst has a large wing tattoo on her back.

Name: Evelyn Tanger
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Role: Healer
Personality: Calm and collected, is very serious when it comes to her job, sarcastic sometimes, and a great friend to have, when alone she is in tears thinking about what her bullies might be feeling after her death
Short bio: Her bully, who came into her life in her early teens, forced her into the cold water. It was midnight, her bullies friends laughing at her. She had never learned to swim as she had no need to. She took her last sharp breath, letting herself fall into the freezing water, telling herself, I have no point in living any more…
Appearance: Rib-cage length white hair, violet eyes, anchor tattoo on her left wrist, wears the same clothes almost everyday, the clothes she died in, brightly coloured blouse and black washed jeans
Skills: Exceptionally good with a dagger or trident, is able to tend to a large variation of wounds on self or others
Weaknesses: Has depression from her past life, full of sadness, knowing her bullies would probably be partying away, happy she died. Finds it hard to use her right leg due to a 30 cm gash on it from her bullies attempting to kill her the first time
Other: Underwater is her new home, her better home, safe. ‘They’ would never dare to venter this deep underwater.

Gender: Female
Role: Defender
Personality: She is quiet unless spoken too. NEVER MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT BOOKS OR TV UNLESS YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO HER RANT FOR YEARS ON END! Can be very sarcastic
Short bio: She was working to be a Marine Biologist. She was cuba diving and went to far down and ran out of oxygen. She didnt hold her breath for very long and a s a result drowned
Appearance: White hair that is always pulled back into an eligent note. 5' 6", Wears a light blue swimming top and torn jean shorts
Skills: Marine Biology/science
Weaknesses: water, depression but hides it well
Other: Underwater

Name: Tara Sheraga
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Role: Fighter
Personality: Tara was a bit of a loner, not because she was antisocial, but mainly because she didn't fit into a stereotype well. She's a bit of a smart mouth at times and argumentative. Realizing the plan to protect her new home, she is very determined to fight. Over time, she ends up caring for the group she is with.
Short bio: Usually, Tara is found with time to herself. Living close to the beach, she decided to take a walk, maybe swim for awhile. Doing the latter, she was pulled under the water. When waking up, she remembers only her lessons in combat and her name.
Appearance: Tara has fair colored skin (in the middle of tan and being pale), short blonde hair with colored wisps, and dark blue eyes. She wears a white tee shirt and a pair of shorts (idk I'm looking up an outfit)
Skills: Before death, Tara had been taking lessons in self defence, later wanting to take it further and take lessons in combat. If handed a weapon, she would try and use it, but would most likely not know how.
Weaknesses: Can get too stubborn at times, thinking her way is better, battles with her loss of memory, wondering if anyone would recognise her if she went to the surface

Gender: Male
Role: (Fighter, Strategist, Healer, Defender. Check character list for available positions) Strategist
Personality: Harry is brave, and loyal to his team but has insane apathy, he isn't really the emotional type nor does he pay attention to how others feel. Though he is ready to break laws, he sees that as a last resort rather than an actual plan or good decision. He always listens to the leader, in his opinion their word is law.
Short bio: He was going on a training exercise with his unit when he drowned. He was a low ranking military instructor before drowning and he was leading a training exercise. He fell off one of the docks and ended up drowning.
Appearance: (Include outfit) Buzz cut, if he grew his hair out it would be jet black in color. Tanned, tall and muscular, olive green eyes. Was wearing a camo uniform when he fell off the dock so I guess he's still wearing it now?
Skills: (Specifically anything that might aid you in battle/survival) Can use most weapons, good at hand to hand combat, general survival skills including being able to treat or at least stabilise most wounds and perform basic first aid, make a decent camp, and do basic repair on most tools/weapons/miscellaneous items. Good leader when need be and brilliant at strategies.
Weaknesses: (Emotionally and physically) Though he tries his hardest, he isn't good with people or emotions. Is sometimes very rude without meaning to be and is prideful and arrogant.

Age: uhh he's 27 but let's pretend he's 24 lolololol
Gender: Male
Role: Fighter
Personality: Overly friendly, Lee Ace is everyone's best friend. He's super kind and willing to help out, but he gets impatient easily which leads to being insensitive. Lee is bold, almost too bold and takes too many risks. He may not listen to directions all the time.
Short bio: Lee was having a swimming race with some of his friends to see how long they could last for. He swims very far, and decides to prank his friends by pretending to drown. As he dives into the water, a shimmer of something catches his eye. However, he loses consciousness and sinks towards the unknown.
Appearance: he's got some red messy hair,,,, green eyes,,,, he's 5'8" kinda lean? is that the word? idk i'll edit this later???????????? he wears just some blank red swim trunks in the beginning but when he wakes up he's got some sweatpants with a fancy ass white button down and always has a tie (which is what he normally wears),,, bc that's the only outfit i have for him right now thank you kanye very cool
Skills: he do the good shooty shoot with a handgun idk what kind lol..,, his accuracy his 87% WOW! he can also beat u up,,, he also lies? idk if that is a skill. oh ya he knows some good war strategies and is an amazing spy holy shit i forget abt that
Weaknesses: he will cry if u even mention the dog tags that are his best friends lmao dont even,,,, also he's ticklish n hoooboi if the bad guys have a better reward for Lee, he may just switch sides y'all can't trust this kid.
