Valory reeled back, stunned momentarily. She hissed in anger and swooped down and knocked Talia over with a strong sweep of her wing. She chuckled. "How'd you like that, huh?"
Talia shook off and hopped up. "What are you? An angel? I bet it fun being a brainwashed stooge. Now, how about you stop being so high and mighty and fold the damn wings." She threw her blade and it hit Valory in the right wing.
Valory hissed in pain, and anger. She took the knife out of her wing, blood staining her wing. "We'll see about that. And like I said, I'm not an angel," and with those words she threw the knife back at Talia, hitting her in the middle of her chest. Knowing better than to stay right where she was she flew up again.
Cam was furiously taking notes, noting each move they made. Oo, she was learning so much when it came to writing fight scenes!
Talia looked down at the knife in her chest. "Thanks for giving it back." She pulled it out and the blade disappeared from her hand. She spread out her arms. "Do your worse. I haven't figured out a way to kill myself, maybe you can."
Cam looked up at the mention of not dying, smiling to herself. It reminded her of one of her characters.
"Oh, well, I'm not intending to kill you, just, you know, defeat you, humanely," Valory replied.
Maria was gripping tightly to Risosu's jacket. The visible skin had turned white. Though, if anyone had been watching closely, they'd notice just the slightest change. The skin seemingly rippling into a more scaly texture, but then returning back to 'normal'. The woman was beginning to shake violently as the scent of blood from outside wafted inwards. Most likely others didn't notice, but when you weren't exactly 'human', your senses heightened, and blood was your main source of sustenance, it was hard to miss. Though, being Maria's age, she still found it hard to control.
Risosu barely felt the tightened grip, sharpened nails digging into his flesh through his clothes. His voice was soft for her ears, "Just keep calm Maria. We don't want you changing right here, cause that would mean I'd have to change."
And he knew if both of them changed, their cover would be blown, and no longer would they seem 'human' to blend in…plus they'd most likely be dealing with a creature driven mad by blood, and the second creature would be trying to hold the first one back and away from the rest of the party-goers.
"Well then what's the damn point?" Talia yelled. "That's all I want nowadays. You can keep knocking me over and stabbing me but nothing's gonna happen."
"You tell me, you challenged me," Valory replied. She hissed in pain. "But you still stabbed me, and that hurts." Her eyes flashed in anger.
“Yeah I wanted you too kill me. I wanted to see if I could get you angry enough. Cmon, take your best shot.” Talia was tired of life. It was awful, boring and repetitive, and she couldn’t put up with it much longer.
"To be honest, I don't get angry very easily, I know when to back away, and I don't like killing much either," Valory called down. She swooped down, and landed on her feet, but she visibly winced in pain as the injured part of her wing brushed the ground. She wasn't quite sure what to do with the injury, as she had never gotten injured on the wings before.
“I guess we’re done here then.” Talia looked to her right where her bottle sat. She picked it up. “Wanna drink Angel?”
"I'm not an angel, as I've already told you multiple times before, but sure, I'll take a drink," Valory painfully closed her wings, so as to not accidentally bump more people down then intended.
“I don’t care if you’re not an angel. You’re pretty so I’m just gonna call you Angel. I don’t even know your name.” Talia look suddenly very depressed but she took a swig from the bottle and then handed it to Valory.
Valory took a hesitant sip of the bottle. "Well, I don't know yours either. I'm Valory by the way."
“I’m…” Talia’s face scrunched up. “I don’t remember my name…or yours. I think I’m just gonna keep calling you Angel.” She squinted and attempted to stand up. “By the way I have absolutely no idea what’s in that bottle.” She stopped and sat back down again. “Why do you even have wings. I want wings. It’s not fair. I hang around some weird people and all of a sudden I’m hurtling into Hell at a bajillion miles per hour and you angels get to keep your wings. Bullshit,” She said with a pout.
Valory wrinkled up her face. "This is hell? I thought this was the human world though… But to be honest, I don't care what this is I'm drinking." She took another sip of the mysterious drink. "Besides, I still have to figure out how to take care of my wing, I've never gotten hurt on a wing before…"
Lillian was just sitting in a tree outside the house on her laptop, where she had been taking notes on the fight. "Hey, did you say you were a demon? If so, that's why you smell so strange."
"Demons?" Cas asked, looking up from his book. "Maybe it's my scent, it's pretty strong." He stood up, revealing a 6-foot-3 tanned demon with blue-grey horns and black eyes.
"Hm, I do smell you, there are also other presences. Two are demonic, even though the other is a bit different than yours." Lillian scented the air by sticking out her tongue a bit and jumping from the tree.
"I see," Cas thought aloud. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Cas Herath, eldest son of the House of Herath, how do you do?"

“No, this isn’t Hell. Hell is warmer. No I just mean in general when I got struck down from heaven.” Her eyes flashed black again. “I have no idea how to heal your wings. They don’t teach healing 101 in basic torture.”
Cam, disappointed the fight had ended so quickly, closed her notebook with much grumbling. Begrudgingly, she made her way over to the two.
"I could help with your wing, if you'll accept my help."
"I see," Cas thought aloud. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Cas Herath, eldest son of the House of Herath, how do you do?"
"I'm Lillian Cancino, well, Cancino is a human last name. I don't have a last name. I'm doing well enough, thought it would be funny to see a human party."
