SO. This is the roleplay for when you have a couple of minutes extra and you just feel that need to roleplay… but unfortunately all your roleplays are dead at the moment, or the people in it just isn't responding. That's when you should come here. The setting is gonna be a party, so basicly anything can happen. Come and go as you want to, don't worry about having to stay here to respond again and again and again. Unless you want to do that. Then, of course, that's cool too. No templates, just throw your character in there. Even if you leave… the party will go on.
I will use my most basic yet completely original character: myself but instead with the name 'Steve'
Lillian sat on the stairs, drinking some sort of booze mixture as she talked to some rando about political issues and the economy, she was a political science major, so it was kinda to be expected. She took a sip as the other argued his point, he was oh so wrong and she was very tempted to smack him but she kept her cool.
Vicente lied on his back, his mouth hanging wide open as a group of frat boys and sorority girls poured a mixture of liquor and beer down his throat.
"Look at the lights," A voice behind her said. "See how they flicker ever so slightly whenever the music picks up?" A wiry young man with messy hair sat down next to her. "There's proof that they play the music too loud."
(sry it took so long)
"I'm not surprised, they've probably gotten three noise complaints by now, at least." Lillian set her cup down next to her foot, pushing up her black glasses.
He offered his hand. "I'm Steve, Steve Meek."
She doesn't take the hand. "Lillian Cancio." She introduced, picking the cup back up to take a sip then setting back down.
Vicente stood upright and pointed to his friend Kyoko, who was passed out on one of the couches. He swallowed the remaining alcohol in his mouth. "I win! Told you you'd pass out before me!" He was too drunk to even care that she wasn't responding.
"Well that seems…regrettable." Steve watched the two drunks. "You'll feel that win tomorrow!" He called.
Vicente gave him a thumbs-up and smiled broadly. "Hell yeah I will! Woo!" he pumped his fist up in the air as he grabbed another bottle of beer from the cooler.
Two rather strange looking individuals were standing off to the side amongst the party-goers. The male didn't seem to be too pleased about being present, as the female with him seemed to be enjoying herself. In one of her hands, she held a metallic canteen. The female took a swig, then looked to the male to her side.
"Hey! Try enjoying yourself Risosu! Mama would be upset if she saw the way you were acting!"
Risosu rolled his different colored eyes, one teal, the other a reddish pink. His voice was a low, annoyed growl, "Shush Maria. I'm only here as Lady Julian knows I'm the one that keeps you in control."
The younger female tilted her head, "Oh c'mon bro, You and I know we're both adopted, but that doesn't mean you have to be an ass about it."
The male sighed, "Just shut up and continue partying, or whatever it is people do in gatherings like this."
A cold chill entered the house as the door was flung open. A woman, looking about 20 years in age, was standing there. The odd thing about her, was, she had wings. Large white wings, that were tucked in behind her back, yet still visible. She also had two small horns on both sides of her head. In a strong, confident voice, she announced. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Sorry to crash your party, but I'm part of it now." She grabbed the nearest cup and drank deeply from it. She hadn't even bothered to close the door, but the cold didn't seem to bother her at all.
There was an annoyed 'tsk' from the male called Risosu. His gaze shifted elsewhere, muttering things under his breath. This was just not his type of thing. He would much prefer being back at home, feeling more comfortable doing housework, or just being around home in general. He did and went out now and then for his adoptive mother, as she knew better than to venture out and amongst humans. She could not blend in as well as he or his adopted sister, Maria.
Maria had stepped to the side, smiling to a few other individuals, conversing. She definitely appeared to be much more relaxed in the large gathering of people, and perhaps other creatures. Which was odd to think that Maria would be the one to be more out going than Risosu, considering her what she was…
The woman's ears easily picked up the noise amongst the others, as this was a different noise. "What was that young man? Is there something you would like to say to me?" she called out in a teasing voice, yet it was clear she wasn't teasing. She strode over to the male, Risosu, who had made the noise and stared him directly in the eyes, almost as if challenging him.
Risosu's gaze met the female who came to stand before him. The air the male gave off was something else entirely. There was no fear, but a calm, alert air. The beast within was beginning to get agitated, which wasn't good. However, he had dealt with situations such as this before.
"Perhaps you should try minding your own business madam. Tis rather rude to be eavesdropping."
"Man, you can eavesdrop, but just don't go blabbering about it," Maria had suddenly returned to her brother's side.
Risosu shot a glare over to Maria, "You always pick the worse moments to appear."
The girl only gave a grin, revealing sharp fangs, her canines appearing to be even longer than the rest, "Heh, and here I though you were suppose to be the one keeping me under control."
"Oh, apologies," the female replied, sarcasm oozing out. "I simply can't help it." Here she flashed a smile of her own, showing two rows of perfect, gleaming, white teeth. She suddenly extended her wings the their full wingspan, the tips crashing into the walls. As she did this, she extended her arms and leaned back slightly, yawning as she stretched.
Lillian was knocked over by the wings. "I swear if another goddamned angel knocks me over with their annoying wings I will personally go back up to heaven and get you fired!" Lillian exclaimed, standing back up, her red hair framing her pissed face.
Stepping through the open door, a girl walked in meekly, holding a notebook and pencil in hand.
"Where the hell am I this time?" She muttered, stepping off to the side.
"That, my friend, is a very good question." Felix walked up to the new girl, very drunk and balance slightly off.
Rolling her eyes, the girl stowed the notebook and pencil in her backpack.
"Well then, might as well enjoy this while it lasts."
Only then just noticing Lillian, the woman looked at her, and smiles a sweet, sickly smile. In an overly sugary voice, she says, "I'm not an angel, sweetheart, but I'm flattered you think of that way." Turning her attention to the girl who had walked in, she folded her wings again, and studied the girl closely. "And who might this little girl be?"
Talia burst through the door with a bottle in hand and decided to sit on the floor because who even cares anymore? She glared at each and every person individually, even if they didn’t glare back.
"Oh, and who is this newcomer?" the woman asked politely, as she strode over to Talia. She tilted her head slightly and smiled. "Oh just perfect, perfect!" she mumbled under her breath, no hint of sarcasm in her voice.
Adjusting her glasses, the girl glared at the woman.
"This little girl has a name, and I prefer if people ask me questions directly. I'm Cam." When Cam noticed Talia glare at her, she raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
