(I am, sort of.)
(Hello^.^ I am the creator of this discussion, and anyone can enter a character as long as they can make it flow with the story, thanks!)
Professor Crumplecorn Raised his hand for silence around the chattering students."Regardless of what year you are all in, you will be sorted into different dorms with each other. Inside each dorm is a common room and everyone has their own room. Typically, there are three-five people per dorm, but there can always be more and always be less. There are twelve dorms total. Meals will be held in the Mush Room at designated times. More information will be provided to you by your Dorm Leaders, understood?" The students all nodded their heads in agreement. "Follow me inside, and we will sort you with your Dorm Leaders." Crumplecorn then turned his back to the anxiously muttering children and placed his aged hand onto the ancient carved doors. He muttered a few out of earshot words and the doors slowly swung open.
Eli looked around and blew out a sharp whistle. “Hopefully we might get the same dorm, huh?” He asked Oze, his brow raised and a grin on his face.
"Yeah, hopefully."
Oze said airily, she was taken aback by the grand sight of the hall they were standing in. A huge crystal cluster at the top of the enormous caved roof glowed softly with many colors: amber, emerald, ruby, sapphire. The floors were roughly smoothed granite with small sparkles here and there. in the center of the cavern was a waterfall that seemed to pour out of the crystal light itself and into a opal pool, fizzy lightly. Around the pool, stood what Oze Assumed were the Dorm Leaders. There were twelve of them, one to match every group of students. Most all of them looked different, all dressed in simple robes all bearing different colors, ranging from blood red to lavender. Each Leader was adorned with crystalline jewellery to match the color of their robes. A shorter, stumpy woman with raven hair in a deep navy robe was adorned with sapphire bracelets, earrings, necklaces, headbands, and even an anklet. On the other side of the lake, a tall, thin, bald man with soft orange robes cut at his shoulders had his arms completely covered in a string of little amber crystals. Visibly other than that, he had two large hooped amber earrings and a warm, autumn like smile. Oze vaguely wondered if the crystals hurt his arms.
Eli’s eyes flickered over the twelve leaders standing before him. A man dressed in deep violet robes had caught his attention, and Eli watched him for a moment. He wondered what the difference was between them, and how they were going to be selected.
(hold on ill be right back)
(Alright, no rush.)
Professor Crumplecorn pulled out a long list of names attached to a clipboard, each name had one of twelve colors on it, supposedly marking each student with their Leader. "Clyde Aaron, Leader Garnet" He announced and a nervous looking boy, around ten or eleven, stepped up in front of the crowd. Crumplecorn motioned his hand to a elegant woman wearing deep blood red robes with read jewels glittering from it. Clyde made his way to Leader Garnet and reached to her belt and pulled out a simple leather string necklace, with a chunk of garnet as the main piece. She set it gently over his shoulders with her ruby nail polished hands.
