Alex gave a nod and went to stand near the wall. She would observe for now and test later, that's what she always did.

Roscoe walked towards the window and looked down at all the busy scientists and sighed. His experiment needed to be looked at but here he was, first thing in the morning, in Dr. Sean's office.

”Well, that sounds normal for her.” Hannah smiled. ”No more signs of pain like before? How far can she stretch her wing now?”
As the announcement for the meeting went out, she gave a disgruntled huff. ”I’m afraid this will have to be a quick check-up but if we run late, blame me. I tend to put my patients first.”

LeLani nodded "she can stretch it almost to full length and I understand that Hannah" she could use a break from meetings and some of the stress she has

Hannah nodded examining the new x-ray. ”I may have underestimated what they did when they coded the Dragon’s healing. But I still think she shouldn't fly for another week… Maybe a few days.” she diagnosed efficiently changing the splint for a fresh one. ”There, all finished. And in good time.” she smiled heading for the door. ”We should get going. I don't want us to get into too much trouble.”

LeLani looked at Mo'o then to Hannah and said "I think it's because of how much time in the dark she gets but I don't know for sure. Don't they heal better when in contact of their elements?"

Mo'o looked at them and licked Hannah's hand

Hannah hummed in thought. ”I never thought of that, but that's an interesting theory.” she agreed petting Mo’o briefly before heading to the office. ”You can let Mai stay here with Bolt and Shimmer while we're at the meeting if you’d like.”

"She'd probably like that so she can stay here" LeLani smiled as they walked to the meeting

When called, Dezi quietly slipped into Dr. Sean’s office and waited for further prompt. He looked around. Not everyone was there yet, so at least he wasn’t running behind.
Dezi’s heart was beating out of his chest, though, and he feared that something pretty bad might be coming.

"we should hurry before we're late" LeLani said as she started a slow jog that made her smooth blue shirt start to rumple but that didn't matter at the moment

Hannah nodded and picked up her pace to match Lelani’s. At the faster speed, it didn't take much longer to reach their destination. The door was still open, probably since they were expected but something about it made Hannah nervous. She did feel a little better when she saw some of the others already there.

LeLani popped her head in "Are we late?" a flush of embarrassment settling on her face as she slipped in with Hannah through the door

Dr. Sean looked at his watch and nodded. "A precise 3 minutes and 45.5 seconds." He frowned. Standing up, he closed the blinds to his room and turned to face the group. "I'm assuming you may have heard the rumours surrounding the fact that Ez Corp wants something better." He said.

Roscoe flinched when the blinds came crashing down and turned to listen to the doctor speak

LeLani nodded her head appropriately to his question "I have" she then looked at Hannah to see what her reaction was

Alex gave a little nod as he spoke. She knew what that better was and wasn't particularly fond of the decision.

"I have chosen this team after watching you all for weeks. I understand a few of you have your own personal projects, you are welcome to work on them as long as you work on my assignment as well. You will be transferred to a private lab and your dragons will be transported as well." He explained, waving a hand and all the young dragons were brought in, chained in sode cages.

Roscoe saw Acyn and Elio chained, looking scared and whining and dropped to his knees at the edge of the cage. "Who chained them? They hate being restrained." He growled, glaring at the people who brought them inside.

Dr. Sean watched his reaction and gave a very slight signal to a guard to free the twin dragons. The cage and their chains opened and Roscoe picked both of them up, rubbing their heads to calm them. Elio climbed up his back and lay his body across his shoulders while Acyn whispered in his hands.

Alex glared at them as she watched Luz knaw at the bars angrily and Oscura growl at the people around them. Alex looked up at Dr. Sean and then guard that brought them in, "I'm angry considering those two aren't even trained to go into chains and cages, but I'm more curious how you got them in the cage without being knawed or clawed at."

LeLani looked at the cages and tears welled in her eyes while anger burned her heart she fell to her knees looking at her little dragon not caring if she was making a scene "MO'O!!" her head whipped around to look at Dr. Sean making her already messy hair rustle in response "What have you done she's injured those chains could make it worse"

Dr. Sean have a nod of his head and all chains and cages opened. Allowing the handlers to check their charges

Mo'o ran and jumped into LeLani's arms happy to be out of the crate they had put her in her wing was sore from the chains but not any worse

LeLani ran her finger down Mai's snout as the small dragon rubbed against her she whispered "glad you're okay girl"

Alex held her arms for her two children to come to her. She held them both up Lux wrapping themselves around her arm before giving a grateful knaw while Obscura settled down in her arms.

Hannah tried her best not to glare at Dr. Sean or the men who chained up everyone’s dragons as Bolt… well bolted to her and curled around her shoulders hissing at his previous captors. Shimmer had her wings flared out in an aggressive stance, challenging anyone else to try to put another Dragon in a cage until Hannah picked her up. ”Easy girl. It's alright. That’ll never happen to either of you again.” she promised before turning to LeLani and Mo’o. ”How badly did they hurt her wing?”

"It looks unset so it might be dislocated" a deep frown was set across LeLani's face as she looked at the crooked wing "I think the chains pulled it out of socket. Can you set it properly?"

Mo'o knew her wing was wrong but hearing the slurr of what she could understand, which wasn't perfect English but close enough, she knew it was bad

Hannah pursed her lips unhappily and gave a sharp nod as she put Shimmer near her feet. ”I can put it back but it will hurt a lot for a little while. The pain will feel much less afterwards. I’ll need you to hold her tightly. She can't fail while I do this.” she explained delicately placing her hands on either side of the joint.

Dr. Sean pressed a button that had all the dragons running to the cages and sitting down normally. "High frequency. That's how we were able to get them to come inside and chain themselves without argument. This step was necessary to see what kind of relationships you had with your dragons." He smiled and pressed yet another button, causing the floor to move down.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a floor underneath the basement which had a couple cars and other vehicles. "If you will each get into a car and follow me, I will be taking you to the new lab."

Anima was sleeping in her cage until she heard Dezi’s voice call her name, wrought with discomfort at the fact she was in chains.
“Yeah- I mean yes sir, ready to go,” Dezi said, tripping over his words.
Anima was perched on his shoulder and nibbling at his ear, but he paid her no mind.
