Aelia laughed as everyone agreed on the name, Rosa. She washed her hands after finishing a small experiment and headed to the nursery to greet Sidus. Although he was still young, he had grown in the past few months. His wings had grown bigger and he himself seemed to have matured some. Sidus was able to communicate with some of the other dragons in the nursery and play with them when Aelia was busy. "Hey, Sidus!" Aelia called out as he came bounding over. She got one of his favorite toys and sat down to play with him.
Acyn looked over as Aelia came to Sidus and gave her, what seemed to be, a dragon grin.

Hannah looked up from her files and gave a small smile at the other two. ”Alright, if you’re done reenacting The Lion King with Rosa, will you bring her over here? I’d like to check on her recent growth.” she chuckled mostly to Roscoe.
Alex was laughing a little as she watched all of them. Luz and Oscura were squeaking around the cage not quite old enough to have that telepathic link with the rest of them.
Roscoe grinned and brought the small creature to Hannah. Rosa clicked her teeth and quickly climbed down his arm and into Hanahs.
Hannah gently held Rosa as she started with a cursory examination. ”Hey, little girl. How are you feeling today? Hmm… You feel a little bit heavier. Has someone been sneaking you extra snacks?” she asked with a playful smirk directed at her colleagues.
Alex let out a little grin and lifted her his? hand, "Guilty as charged."
Hannah chuckled and set Rosa on the table to take proper measurements. ”Well, as long as it was the healthier ones, it should be fine.”
Just then Rosa shivered and started whining while her skin turned a different colour. "We need to move her to a safe space! She is Merging!" He said, grabbing a soft towel. Merging, a phase where newly hatched Dragons grow from their Scaleless state Into a form that can be classified as one of 6 dragon types. Rosa was a special case however, a merging starts a couple weeks after the dragon is hatched however it was mo ths after she came out of her beaker.
Alex watched as Rosa started to Merge. He was a bit shocked it happened so soon, "Already? This is unprecedented, but let's get it up."
Hannah nodded and got to work helping to prepare occasionally glancing at Rosa to make sure she was alright. ”This is big. I know she's special but this shouldn't be happening yet.”
(I going to make her a glass dragon, a dragon who is able to change her scales from scales to glass)
Aelia looked up from playing with the dragons in the nursery. Rosa was merging. "holy…" she muttered before standing up. Sidus was right beside her and the pair watched intently for a minute as the others rushed to get everything ready to make the merging as safe and successful as possible. Aelia herself ran to grab some things to help the group out. "Rosa, you really do like to surprise us, huh?"
Rosa whined again in pain and the small group watches in fascination as small clear and shiny black spikes and scales appeared on her body.
