"Old," Aurelius responded dully, "Old in every sense of the word."
Nox let out a low rumbling sound in amusement.
Old-fashioned? Out of touch with reality sometimes? She suggested.

"I see." Mara wasn't sure of what to say. Do they know much about us dragons? Riven wanted to know what kind of dragon he was, and if he could possibly do something cool, like breath fire like some other dragons. All he can do now is run fast, which he thought was boring.
"They'll eventually start dying off, and the next generation will fix things. They're just very… adamant. What they lack in flexibility, they sure do make up for in knowledge. They know more about dragons than I could ever hope to, and they have a big library for those who wish to research," Aurelius continued, trying to lighten his tone a little.
"I want in that library!" Mara, also loved knowledge and she would was going to copy as much as she could. She wanted to be the one to know the most about the dragons. "Sorry, I mean, I would like to see the library."
Aurelius chuckled just a little. "You don't have to hold back your excitement for something like that in front of me. It truly is amazing. I've never seen more books in one place."
"Oh, of course. Even Fiera, before she had to leave, was utterly impressed by the size of the library. And she grew up in a castle," Valkyrie mused, "But then you have the uncultured peasants, such as myself, who can hardly read a word of what's in there. It's a little too much for my head."
You're still learning to read, Val! It's okay! Nox reassured her.
Valkyrie shook her head. "Most of the dragons here can read better than I can."
"I'm the same way. Farron helped me earlier today." That didn't matter right now. All she was going to do was copy as much as she can. "I want to travel and discover and explore new dragons and places and write about them one day." Riven nudged her with his head. "That's my dream." She looked over at Aurelius and smiled, excitement in her eyes.
Frost growled it smells weird here
"I would give anything to travel again," Aurelius sighed.
Valkyrie grumbled, "Well, we both know why you can't do that."
Arioch and Zuriel began walking into the village "we're turning in for the night…." i regret everything
"Are we close to the elders?" She wanted to meet them so she can get to the library faster. "Sorry for being impatient."
“They’re more towards the middle of the village. It’s a bit of a walk, but not too far,” Aurelius said.
(Bye guys! I may be back tonight, but I’m hanging out with some friends and playing D&D, so that could take a while)
(Anyone here?)
(Sup.)
(Not much. I’m at home for the weekend, so now I have fully functional internet and I can stay up later.)
(Dats good.)
(Im here.)
(Heyo!)
(Let’s rp then, I guess?)
Mara was surprised at how many dragons were around this place. I guess they really do take care of them here. "I never even imagined this many dragons existed." Even Riven was surprised. There were small shoulder types and huge ones, so many colors. "They're beautiful."
Lucky nodded inagreement
Quincy left her home with Jade trailing after her. They caught back up to the main group, the dragons never seemed to shock them, "I suppose. When you see them every day they do get a bit dull though."
"Oh, aren't they? I grew up here, and I still find it amazing," Aurelius mused, "It's quite hard to see the rest of society though, and how dragons are so hated elsewhere."
Valkyrie nodded in false agreement, and was actually a little tense. She plastered on the fake shadow of a smile and kept walking alongside the group.
"I could never get bored of them." Mara pulled out her pieces of paper and as they walked she sketched some of the dragons in front of them. Still none like me though. Riven pointed out. "Hush, that just means you're unique."
Jade hit Quincy with her tail, You still find alchemy amazing. Yet you've done that your whole life. Stop lying.
Quincy sighed, "Okay, yeah. Dragons are awesome."
"I think Riven might be from a different region," Aurelius suggested, "We're not the only society like this, though we're one of very few. It's also quite possible that whatever Riven is does not typically like to associate with humans. Which isn't surprising, considering how superior they are to us in a lot of ways."
