Same! I probably won't be out for a few hours. Sorry!
I'm here now, sorry I had school ^^;. I'm probably going to make a new character. What would you guys suggest that would work well with the plot/characters/etc
• Eluciel argues with the Flight Class teacher, and either Tor or Ivaline comes over to try and either end or solve it; Eluciel gets mad at whoever it is and sits out the rest of class, and then they go to the project class (probably Basic Magic Training or something), where everyone is forced to do a project together
Something like that for the beginning
Yeah. My characters are usually a quiet, shy, gentle type, so it would make sense for my character to simply be the mediator or third person of the group. I also enjoy rping males, even though I'm not a guy… Idk, roleplays always seem to be short on males, so it works out pretty well.
Hey guys! Just finished classes so I should be here for a while. I have something in an hour but I should be able to multi-task a bit because it's going to be a lot of sitting around waiting.
Cool cool
Name: Samandriel Stroud (Usually requests to be called Sam bc honestly who would want to be called Samandriel all the time)
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Description: Brown hair parted on the left side, fluffy. Dark blue/almost purplish eyes, Fluffy white wings tipped with a deep purple, similar to his eye color. Usually just wears hoodies with holes cut in the back for his wings and jeans. He's about 5'8" with a thin and lithe body type.
Personality: He's generally really quiet and laid back, but he tends to have less of a filter when he's vulnerable. For example, he could get angry or yell much quicker or easier if he's scared or something. He doesn't like to get caught up in conflicts, and is very difficult to offend. Still has a small sense of humor (especially plays on words)
Wings: Fluffy, white, and tipped with a similar color to his eyes.
Magic: Storm magic (He can cause minor storms, small, concentrated bolts of lightning, weak thunder, and even mini tornadoes if he's strong enough, i.e., well fed/rested, generally in good physical shape)
Family/history: He's middle class, nothing special. He just lived with his parents until he was 18, then came to this school.
Other: He really likes birds and animals in general. Can sometimes be found simply flying around, surrounded by small birds. Also has a fondness for puns.
I like him!
Thanks :)
I like the fact that he just flies around in a swarm of birds
Yeah pretty much. One of my characters, Robin, is essentially a Disney Princess. He just talks to animals and has way more animal friends than human friends. He doesn't really have very many human friends, though, so that's not saying much lol.
How do you think he's going to fit in the dynamic of the group?
He's the chill one who tries to get them to stop arguing so they can get some frEAKING WORK DONE
Yooooo ok I'm back now.
Hey!
Hows it going?
Good! What else do we need to decide?
Nothing big I can think of. We could just start and then if we come across anything we need to discuss we could just do it then.
Alright! I should probably go first, right? Robin, are you still on? If not, we could just do the first scene with Eluciel and Ivaline in Flight Class I.
Doesn't matter to me, I could start if you wanted me to.
Oh, that sounds good! Go ahead :)
Ivaline made her way from her room down to the field where the flight classes were held. She was still braiding her hair as she hurried along the stone pathways through the school grounds, not wanting to be late. Of course, late for Ivaline meant less than five minutes early. Some of the students had already begun to gather in the corner of the field when she arrived. She stayed off to the side a bit until the class began. The instructor arrived and began describing the drills they would start with.
(Did you want Ivaline and Eluciel to argue or Eluciel and the teacher? I think Ivaline and Eluciel would be most interesting. Maybe the drills could be done in pairs and those two are paired up?)
(I think Eluciel and Ivaline, actually, and you'll see why.)
Eluciel slowly walked to the sidelines of the field. He was still in his jeans and jacket from earlier in the day, and every now and then he saw the instructor give him a glance. Their lips were moving, but he didn't bother paying attention. He wouldn't be joining in, anyway. There was no way that a teacher that looked that nervous would invade his privacy and force his wings out into the open. Most likely, he guessed, they would ignore him and his limp, leaving him to sit out in the perches with his assignments.
(So is this a more modern setting? For some reason I had it in my head that it was more medieval in terms of clothes and such but I'm not sure where I picked that up.)
Ivaline listened intently, not wanting to miss something and end up looking dumb in front of her classmates. The instructor began pairing them off so they could practice flying in basic formations with just one other person. Eventually he came to Ivaline and paired her with someone named Eluciel. No one came forward to meet her, so she began wandering through her classmates looking for someone who didn't have a partner and asking if anyone knew Eluciel.
Eventually she notices someone standing off to the side and she walked over to him. "Are you Eluciel?" she asked, trying not to sound too annoyed. Everyone else was already starting to get into the air.
