(Okay, I'll be working on a character sheet for another RP in the meantime.)
(Cool)
(NVM I'm just gonna do this on my phone lmao who wants to start)
(I think I went last so…)
(There's still a conversation happening between our three characters, so we could pick up there. Xander (my kiddo) was the last one to speak)
((Idk what to do……….))
"I want you to be careful," Luca answered honestly, narrowing his eyes and Xander. "But if you don't trust me, fine. Suit yourself."
(I thought Tanrial was the last one?)
(just throw yourself in here however you want, we'll make it work)
“I agree with him.” Tanrial said.
"Obviously," Xander replied, "I would like to be more careful. As for my trust in you, or you for that matter," he glanced at Tanrial, "it's nothing personal. I don't think I truly trust anyone."
Tanrial shrugged, “Fair call, I don’t trust many people either so I understand.”
((Should Gen just walk past them or something?))
(Yeah, she could hear the conversation perhaps?)
"I still find it suspicious. Neither of you are just going to report me? Turn me in?" Xander averted his gaze from both of them, trying to figure out what to do, and if he should just run.
"You might need to work on that," Luca pointed out. "Both of you. I get that there are several untrustworthy creatures of this world, but this is a dangerous world, and it would be smart to have as many allies as possible." He glanced at the cafe, shifting uncomfortably.
Genevieve continued walking along the path. She came across a small group of people talking.
"Well, as little as I trust you, you're surely more of an ally than I've had in a long time," Xander admitted.
“Yes I understand that having allies is great but what if I spend most of my time on my own? Try to stay away from conflict with the demons? Yes being able to trust people is great but I spend most of my time on my own anyway.”
Genevieve paused. Demons?
Luca glanced to the side, spotting a girl close by. He tensed before turning back to the others. "We're talking too loud. People are listening."
“Sorry…” Tanrial muttered.
Xander muttered a curse under his breath, sighed, and then started to walk away. He noticed Genevieve, who had stopped to listen. He froze. How much, exactly, had she heard?
Genevieve smiled and thought at Luca. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about someone like me hearing your conversation
Tanrial noticed the girls movements and became suspicious, “Why is she smiling at you?”
