(Ambrose, Atkins, or anything starting with an A should sound good. Alliterative names usually sound nice and are memorable for characters. Other random names that I saw that I thin would sound alright: Bradshaw, Craft, Klein, Wade, Joyce, Toler, the list goes on, these are just some random ones. I also assumed you meant like just normal-sounding last names that would sound good with the names and didn't require much thought, and the story was not fantasy, since it's for a class, so there's also that.)

Backstory (optional): Gre up in a small village Where she was feared for having powers. Soon they tried to burn down her house (hence the scaring and burns) she ran away and has been living around the country every since to avoid human contact.
Other: good at manipulation and deception, can fight hand to hand and larger scale, has manipulation of darkness/shadows and light. Can form wings if nessasry but doesn’t use them often. But of a herbalist.
