The boy could easily pick out his close friend a mile away, lightly taking steps as she waited her turn. Taking a french fry, he nibbled on it, not wanting to be finished before the other girls were done ordering lunch.
Perhaps he could get Jason to sit with them. He did have a class or two with the exchange student.
