Eventually Vos reached the top of the staircase, and he stopped just behind the thick door that led into the building. There were three or four demons standing around someone who was tied to a chair, and they seemed to be talking about what they were going to do with the kidnapped human
Mikhail tapped his foot impatiently, he was usually very impatient so he wasn't sure what to do. He leaned against the wall and tried to hear what was happening.
Vos scowled a bit as he listened to the demons. From the sounds of it, they were rejects from his kingdom that were going about causing havoc. One had even suggested mangling the human and leaving it for the others to find
Mikhail wanted to see where Richard was but he was told to stay where he was by Vos. It wouldn't hurt if he moved a bit closer to where Richard was right? He sighed and quietly walked up the stairs.
Vos was just getting fed up with the demons. They weren’t even intelligent or dangerous, just annoying. And after a minute he chose to break the door down and storm inside, a snarl beginning in the back of his throat
Mikhail quietly watched with interest, going up the stairs when Vos had entered the room. He went to the spot where Vos was just standing and hid behind the wall, looking into the room to see where his friend was.
The demons in the room jumped and swore, and two of the three lashed out at Vos. He simply grabbed them both by the head and sent a few thousand volts through their bodies, just enough to incapacitate them before tossing them to the side
Mikhail glanced at Richard and sighed in relief, his eyes widening when he saw Vos killing two people very easily. The third tackled Mikhail to the ground and he struggled around. "Get off!"
Vos's eyes widened when he found the last demon fighting Mikhail. "Get off him!" he barked before storming over and ripping the demon off of Mikhail with one hand
The demon fell off Mikhail but left a few cuts on his leg. Mikhail quickly stood up and backed out of the room, watching the demon's every move.
The demon yelped and hissed, righting itself once it had hit the ground. Vos followed after it, though when he reached into his trenchcoat he somehow pulled an entire bladed staff out of it
Mikhail quietly watched Vos and the demon, his eyes widening when Vos pulled an entire bladed staff out of his trench coat. Where did he get that?
The demon seemed to be rather scared once Vos pulled the weapon out. Though Vos didn't give him time to react before almost gracefully slitting the demon's throat. He then stored the weapon away, and when he looked over at the previously kidnapped human, he realized he had just seen everything. With a snap of his fingers, the man was knocked unconscious
Mikhail quickly looked away when Vos killed the demon. He took out his dagger and pointed it at Vos. "What are you?" He asked, he was sure he didn't look intimidating or anything like that.
Vos turned towards Mikhail, a brow raised when he saw the dagger. "I suggest you put that away," he said, not sounding like he was taking Mikhail seriously
"Only if you tell me what you are," Mikhail replied, still pointing the dagger at him. He moved a bit closer to Vos, the dagger still in front of him.
"And what will you do if I don't tell you, hm? Are you going to prick me with that paperclip of yours?" Vos scoffed
Mikhail rolled his eyes. "Then tell me how you were able to kill all of them so easily," He asked, signalling towards the demon's bodies.
"Combat training and common sense," Vos answered matter-of-factly. He was good at concealing being a demon, and had done so for a while now
"Oh, and by the way, don't try to lie, I can easily tell when you're lying," Mikhail said, a small smile on his face. He glanced at the demon's bodies and move a bit closer to Vos with the dagger.
Vos's gaze narrowed at Mikhail then. "You would not be questioning people as much as you are if you did not have something to hide as well."
Mikhail chuckled. "Everyone has something to hide, Vos. Everyone in this world has secrets," He said, still holding the dagger.
"And I'm to believe that you are a threat to me?" Vos said slowly. "I hate to break it to you, but I am not someone to be trifled with."
"I can be a threat to you if I want to, Vos," Mikhail replied, a small smile on his face. He could secretly pluck out one of his feathers which would turn into a dagger and he could use that.
Vos's eyes narrowed at him. "You are highly persistent," he huffed. Slowly, he lowered his weapon, but didn't put it away yet. "My name is Vos Vremenu. Or as I am more commonly known, Vohanu."
