Mikhail glanced at him when he made a 'aha' noise and followed him curiously, staying far enough that he didn't look suspicious but close enough to see what Vos was following. He should probably be looking around for clues to find Richard but his curiosity got the best of him at times.
Vos eventually followed the trail out the door, not noticing Mikhail trailing him in his focus. He began walking down the street, seemingly staring at the ground
Mikhail kept following him out the door, wondering when Vos was going to notice him. He kept moving a bit to the side to see what he was following, but not far out enough that Vos would be able to see him.
Vos continued down the sidewalk, eyes narrowed in concentration as he followed the faint electrical trail. He was nearing an alley, and the trail was beginning to get stronger
Mikhail glanced around and saw that he was nearing an alley so he quietly backed away a bit, he never liked alleys since his parents were killed in an alley. He kept following Vos, but from a farther distance now.
Vos began to walk into the alley, seemingly not phased in the slightest as it grew darker the further he walked. Eventually the trail seemed to stop at a large tunnel in a wall. "Odd," Vos thought aloud as he stopped to look at it
Mikhail kept following him, becoming more and more uncomfortable as the alley grew darker. He eventually came to a stop when Vos stopped and looked at the tunnel, wondering if Richard was on the other side.
Vos looked around at the large tunnel, which appeared to go through a bridge. He pursed his lips in thought before beginning to walk through the tunnel
Mikhail quickly walked through the tunnel, still behind Vos. He moved a bit closer to Vos as he walked through the tunnel, trying to be as quiet as possible.
Now that the trail was a little weaker, Vos wasn't quite as distracted by it. But when he felt an electrical field behind him in the dark he spun on his heel and turned to the person behind him. "Are you following me?" he asked abruptly
Mikhail squeaked in surprise when Vos turned around. "I-uh-um-yes?" He answered, making it sound more like a question than an answer to a question
Vos's lip curled up in a snarl at first, though after a second he realized that the signature belonged to Mikhail. "You're following me because you think I've found your friend. Correct?" he asked
"Yea….." Mikhail muttered. His eyes kept darting around everywhere but Vos even though he knew he couldn't see him.
"Well…I suppose you are not wrong," Vos sighed. "Come along, I will show you where he has gone," he said before turning to walk through the tunnel again
Mikhail nodded and quietly followed Vos. "Why didn't you tell me last night he was here?" He asked.
"Because I didn't know then," Vos answered. "I only just picked up his trail today."
"Oh, okay then," Mikhail said. He looked around the tunnel and moved a bit closer to Vos as they walked, he never really liked tunnels, dark alleys, or anything like that.
Eventually they exited the tunnel, and Vos looked around for a moment before beginning to walk towards a building across the street
Mikhail sighed in relief when they exited the tunnel. He kept following Vos to where ever he was going, wondering who would kidnap Richard.
(do you mind if I make the kidnapper(s) a demon?)
Vos walked across the street to the empty building the trail had led him to, frowning a bit as he did so. "Odd," he mumbled to himself
(sure, I have no opinion on what the kidnapper(s)' species is)
Mikhail kept following him towards the empty building, looking at the building. It looks exactly like the building I used to live in when I fell from Heaven. That sounds like a pickup line, damn it, why? He thought, a small smile on his face as he kept looking at the building.
(okay)
Vos walked around the back of the building before pulling one of the back doors open. He looked around for a moment before his eyes narrowed at the floor below them. There were several electrical signatures above them, though they were anything but human. "Stay here," he told Mikhail. "And be silent."
"Okay then?" Mikhail said, very confused about what was happening. He leaned against a wall and looked around, not sure why Vos wanted him to stay here.
Vos gave him a look as if trying to reinforce his words before turning to ascend the rickety staircase up to the second floor. He did so near silently, almost as if he had done it before
Mikhail kept glancing around, not sure what he was supposed to do here. He kept trying to think of why people would kidnap Richard, he knew Richard didn't have any enemies.
