"I'm thinking," Vos lied. He had already realized the stranger wasn't human, but he wasn't going to let on that he wasn't either
Mikhail sighed, knowing the other was lying but kept quiet about it. He hoped the man didn't know that he wasn't human.
Eventually, Vos gave up on looking. "I am assuming that your friend left the bar, because I can't think of where to find them."
"Okay then, he might be at his house? or mine?" Mikhail suggested, still leaning against the wall. Where is this idiot?
"I can give you a ride, if you would like," Vos offered. He didn't normally drive, but he did usually keep an older Impala around just in case he had to go somewhere in the mortal world without raising suspicion
"No, it's fine, our houses aren't far from here." Mikhail said quickly. He was probably already bothering the man and he didn't want to bother him even more.
"Please, I insist," Vos tried to say. It was getting a little easier to help the stranger, but it still annoyed him ever so slightly
Mikhail sighed. "Okay then, lead the way, what-ever-your-name-is," He replied, bowing deeply while smiling.
"Vos," the man answered. A small smile quirked at the corner of his lip when Mikhail bowed. He missed when people used to bow to him often
Mikhail glanced up and saw Vos smiling slightly, making a note to himself to bow more to him. "Nice to meet you, Vos, I'm Mikhail." He said, holding out his hand while smiling brightly.
"Mikhail, hm? I will remember that," Vos said, smiling ever so slightly more as he shook Mikhail's hand. Now that he thought about it, this guy wasn't too bad
"Good, you probably should," Mikhail replied. Even his name sounds cute……What the hell? Didn't I make myself believe he's straight? God damn it, stupid gay brain.
Vos caught sight of a familiar spike in Mikhail’s energy field. Did this man happen to think him attractive? It certainly wouldn’t be the first time, and wouldn’t be the last
"Sooooooo……where is your car?" Mikhail asked awkwardly. He moved some hair which had fallen into his face when he bowed.
"It's over here," Vos answered. He walked over to the parking lot, where they came upon an older, almost antique-looking car
Mikhail quietly followed Vos to the parking lot and glanced at the car. "Nice car," He commented.
"Thank you," Vos said, smiling a bit at the compliment. He unlocked the car before sliding into the driver's side of it
"You're welcome," Mikhail replied. He slid into the passenger's side of the car and glanced out the window at the sky.
Vos waited for Mikhail to buckle up before pulling out of the parking lot. He began to drive, eyes flicking across the road as he did so. "What's your address?" he asked
Mikhail glanced at Vos when he started talking. "Oh, I live at {address bc I'm too lazy to make up one rn}." He answered.
Vos nodded in response. "Alright, then." He continued to drive, being sure to watch for the signs that would point him to the address
Mikhail looked out the window at the road and sky as they drove to his house. He wasn't sure where to look next if his friend wasn't at his house or Mikhail's.
Eventually Vos pulled up in front of the address. “Here we are,” he said before parking the car and stepping out
Mikhail stepped out of the car and sighed while opening the door to his house and held the door open while bowing, knowing it would get Vos to smile. He was glad he was home and he was trying to make his brain believe he was with a very attractive man.
Vos smiled a bit more when Mikhail bowed. He bowed gracefully back, the motion like that of royalty. "May I ask if I will see you again?" he asked, still smiling once he had righted himself
