(Haha.)

"I'll do it, unless you don't trust my shaky hands," Oliver joked lightly, pretending to make his hands twitch nervously as he glanced over at Quinn. He moved her towards a more comfortable chair, letting her sleep until he returned to Madelyn.

@AvaM_Star

"Just be carful and I apologize if I hit you in the process." She jokes a little before tightening her grip on the arms of the chair. She also hooked her feet around the legs as well, "I'm sill going to sew my self up."

(Aye, French!)
"It's alright. This wouldn't be the first time a girl's hit me," Oliver answered, a joking tone evident in his voice as he handed Madelyn a few pills before grabbing a pair of tweezers. The bullet wasn't too deep, though he would have to spend a few moments trying to dig it out. "Okay, ready?" He asked, glancing up at Maddie.

@AvaM_Star

Madelyn dropped the pills on the table, "I can't take those, but yes I'm ready." I guess 'can't' isn't the right word won't is a more accurate word. I'll just shut down, like back then. She thought to herself before she started to slow her breathing. The mussels in her face relaxed into a neutral expression and her eyes seemed glassy, if it was for her constant breathing and blinking occasional she would have looked dead. I would've end up in this state anyways, it's to similar, easier to detach now. Madelyn is currently on autopilot.

Oliver nodded and looked down, pulling a few of the bandaids away as he picked up the pair of tweezers, beginning to search for the bullet. He had never liked blood, but if it was going to help Madelyn, then he would do it. Come on. Don't be such a coward, he silently chastised himself, focusing on the wound again. After about ten minutes, Oliver managed to get the bullet out and was checking for any splintered off pieces. "Okay, it's done," He said gently, placing the tweezers down as he looked back up towards Madelyn.

@AvaM_Star

Her grip would tighten occasionally as he dug for the bullet, but nothing more. Madelyn is clearly broken who watched this could see that. Waiting and expecting pain tormented her more than it actually being caused pain. Another strange thing to watch is her stitching her self up still in the same mind set. She was eerily robotic in in the movement unlike with Quinn her stitched were done mater o'factly wile she had been careful and gentle with Quinn. this is what happens, she thought to herself, After three years of torture, you don't get to be completely human anymore.

Oliver watched Madelyn, a bit of worry in his faded green eyes as he watched her moving the needle back in forth in a stitching motion. She seemed oddly detached and blank, almost robotic in a way. "What's wrong, Maddie?" He asked softly, unsure if Madelyn would appreciate the concern or not.

@AvaM_Star

The question caught her off guard, Everything! she wanted to scream, but rather she just gave a neutral look, "Bad memories it all." She looked down at the stitches, new scars, as if I didn't already have enough.

(The white queen did a lot to this poor girl)

(Our poor lil Maddie)
"You can talk to me, Maddie. You're my best friend, and I'm here for you," Oliver answered, wrapping a fresh layer of bandages around her shoulder, using it to protect the new stitches before he looked back up towards Madelyn.

@Hallowed_Xeno

Madelyn looks between the two of them, "About what?, I'm functional." She said 'Functional', not fine.

"Just barely" He responded "I found something when I arrived home" He slid a small piece of folded cloth across the table.

@AvaM_Star

Madelyn took the cloth from were he dropped it on the table. She honestly did not know how to react to what she saw. She was still a little unavailable emotionally, maybe that's was stoping her from making the connection to why this was important.

(No idea what it says so both Madelyn and I are confused)

Upon unfolding the cloth you find the words, The Piper lies in wait, seemingly written in blood.
