Levi took a deep breath, rubbing his temples as he looked down at his spotless floor.
"Technically we're not criminals if we haven't done anything wrong. It's just like a parent and a child" he looked up to Laura. "If the, let's say mom, murdered someone. That would make her a murderer. But if she has a son, her son wouldn't be a murderer. He didn't do anything. Though they share the same DNA. So we're not criminals….though he might be clones" he says with a sigh, trying to process everything.
(Did I not say Laura had left? I swear I did? I'll double check.)
(Agh I'm sorry! Do you want me to delete it?)
(Or edit it, cuz that was a lot)
(XD you're fine. We can just leave it and ignore the part about Laura is all <3)
(Okay)
(I might have Levi come out and talk to Laura, is that okay?)
(Fine by me, but let's just make sure this doesn't turn into a O/O ;) Lol)
Hayden sighed and slowly sat in the vacant seat where Laura had sat. He was slowly putting the pieces together in his brain like a puzzle. "Wait- so if we're clones, we have to be made with a human's DNA. So, I know it may be contradicting what you said, but wouldn't we still be half guilty for their crimes? I mean if somehow they escaped the prison they are hopefully in, and we happened to finally be free, couldn't we have a problem at having the law catch us and DNA test us?" He pointed out. "What would we do then, say: "Oh- that was my Clon-ie. I'm a clone of So-and-so." They wouldn't take that bull$%!*." He asked crossing his arms.
Zanna looked to Hayden, "Probably, but we also have definite memories problems. So if they tried to interrogate us for our OG's crimes we wouldn't be able to answer the questions correctly. And it would be especially in our favor if they used a lie detector on us. Besides the likelihood of us getting in trouble with the law is slim, right?"
He shrugged. "I guess." He nodded slightly. "It was all hypothetical though." He finished shoving his hands into his pockets.
"I got that," Zanna responded her voice dull, "But I figured giving you an answer would be more beneficial to respond with."
He nodded. "Well thank you." He replied with not much of a smile.
Zanna gave a nod, "No problem."
Hayden turned to CC. "What's your take on this? You've seemed quiet the whole time. Quieter than me."
She looked up to them and took a deep breath. "I just want to know why they're doing this" she says quietly as she swiping the hair from her face.
Levi got up and left the room in search for Laura. A while later he found her down the hall. He was still a little mad about what she had done earlier, but he wasn't going to bring that up. "Hey, are you alright?" He asks her softly.
Hayden nodded in agreement. "Yeah, what's the point?" He turned to Zanna who he assumed must be the oldest. "Well Levi's gone, so why do you think?" He asked curious.
Laura heard someone walking down the hall, she was so out of it she's didn't care who it was. But then she heard Levi. Then she cared. She stiffened at his voice and turned. "No…" she whispered hoarsely. She stood and walked over to him and watched her feet as She went, avoiding his eyes.
Zanna shrugged, "No clue. Maybe they wanted to make criminals to fight criminals? Suicide squad the whole thing."
He laughed a hearty laugh. "So were the suicide squad? Who's the joker? And Harley Quinn?" He laughed.
"That actually seems pretty cool" CC shrugged. She looked to Hayden, then back to Zanna. "That seems pretty…unlikely though. But then again, that sounds like the most reasonable thing at this point" she sighed, laying down on his bed and looking up to the ceiling. "Why is his room so spotless," she says mostly to herself.
"Why don't you come back in, and we can discuss what we're going to do. Yeah?" He says patiently
She sighed. "I- I guess." She looked at him now with a gentle smile. She had glazed eyes but no actual tears.
He took a deep breath as he saw her eyes. He figured she could use a hug. He was never a big hugger. It was way too much physical contact, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her unto him and hugged her. though she was so small compared to him who seemed like a big shield in the moment. "We're gonna work this out and it's going to be all right. Okay?"
She was in honest shock. She really didn't expect it of him. But she leaned into the hug and took a deep breath. "Okay." She said quietly.
Hayden looked around and noticed it too. "It is… he must be OCD. That's a decent sign he is." Hayden nodded slowly. He was reverting back to the quiet self he was use to.
Levi held her for a bit more before letting her go. He trusted that she was decently clean as least when he hugged her. "Let's go"
They got to his door and he heard talking, then his name.
"Apparently he's got a ton going on. He has multiple personalities too" she says sitting up and still looking at Hayden. "I heard he had a lot more " issues" but that's the only one i witnesses" she shrugged.
Levi stayed there for a second and thought to himself about it.
"Issues….hm." He says to himself blackfaces. Of course he had issues. He was broken and unfixable. There's so many things wrong with him. He knew everyone else knew too. It was nothing new.
Laura slowly followed and just regained herself before they entered the room. She wasn't paying attention to the conversation, that Hayden was holding. "Well, I feel issues is a bit insensitive. More like- Oh I don't know, disabilities. Of a sort. But now that I say it aloud, that sounds worse." He mumbled.
"Gee thanks," Zanna responded deadpanning, "Everyone's got issues, just like we all live different lives."
Hayden crossed his arms scrunching back from Zanna. They seemed kinda rude, he never even said anything to her in this whole conversation.
