Zackary glanced around. Boredom was just wonderful. He felt inclined to go after that Human girl, just to see how she would react, but he decided against it. After all, she’d “call the police”. He snorted aloud. What would the police do to a Demon?

Juliet continued on her way, going towards the store. Just calm down… breathe… She walked into the store and only then did she look behind her and deflate with relief. Yet, even as she shopped, her body was tense, her eyes darted left and right.

Zackary let his feet lift off of the ground, and he started to drift around. He was feeling extremely bored. He glanced around occasionally, ready to set his feet back down the moment a Human appeared. Otherwise, he just let himself drift about, humming.

Once she was finished, she tentatively returned to the street, ready to take the bags to her car and put them away. As she walked, she got a phone call. Fumbling with all her bags, she got her phone and answered. "Hello?"

"Hey, beautiful…" a deep voice drawled on the other line. "I was wondering when I was gonna hear from you." Juliet froze, stopping right there on the sidewalk. Her lip trembled. "W-what do you want? How did you get this number?" She demanded, but her voice shook, portraying her fear. His laugh felt like acid running down her throat.

"Your friends at the office are very generous. Told them I wanted to get in touch with my girlfriend so I could go see me baby and they gave me the number willingly. Speaking of baby how's the little sh-"

"You do not get to speak of my baby!" she growled into the phone. "Stop calling me Gram…Please…j-just leave us alone, we want nothing to-"

"NO!" he exploded. Juliet flinched, even though she wasn't in front of him. But, he knew where she was, and that was close enough. "Juliet, please don't forget: I own you… And don't worry, I'll be paying a little visit soon." The line clicked off. Juliet looked down at the phone, her flushed and frightened reflection staring back at her through the black screen.

Zackary heard some rando person approaching behind him and plopped back down on the ground, clicking his teeth unhappily. It was a PI, investigating the area around the corpse.
The man turned to Zackary, who was glowering at the back of his head.
“Do you know anything of this incident?”
Zackary put on a look of curiosity, that he, oh, wore so well.
“No, sir, I don’t. I’m just walking around, trying to get some exercise.”

I got kind of freaked out for a second because I saw that there were three pages and I didn't know how much I had missed XD. I'm back now though, finally))
Sariel kept the fake smile plastered to her face for a few moments more, before allowing it to fade. Just before she was about to leave, she noticed one of two quickly cover up their eye the rest of the way. As they did so, a dark mark caught her attention, but she decided it would be best if she said nothing of it. "Mhm, well, thanks anyway." Sariel said, before standing up straight once more and proceeding down the street. The farther from the main road she got, the more common abandon buildings were becoming. Sure, there was the occasional lived in house, but other than that there was nothing that was up-kept.
After what had seemed like hours of walking, Sariel reached a corner, and noticed a girl standing in front of a rather large building. As she peered more closely at it, the blonde began to see the building's busted windows. "Why…?" She mumbled, stopping where she was on the sidewalk. With her grey and black clothing, and the distance she was away, Sariel hoped that the stranger wouldn't yet see her. She had the full intention of staying to see why someone would choose a place such as this to just…stand in front of. Maybe it's a drug deal or something?

Avalisa finally saw a black minivan start to pull up. She walked up to the front widow. It rolled down and she said harshly. "You're late. I thought you said you'd be on time for once!" A voice rumbled out from the inside. She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Come on." She started to turn away and then froze. She whipped back as the voice started up again. "What!? The hell?!" She started looking around and then her eyes landed on a grey and black clad figure a distance away. Her eyes narrowed. She turned back to the car. "Just get out of here. Now." The car window rolled up and it sped away. She glared back at the figure then stalked back inside the factory, where she was spending the night. She started up some rickety, metal staircase to head to the old overseer's office where her supplies where set up. She watered some strange plants in pots then collapsed into her sleeping bag, eyes shut but not asleep.

(You're good KoffeeOwl!)

"Let's go home," Cam said as Marrin sighed. "Fine, but I'm using your jacket. I hate sleeping on the factory floor." Marrin muttered the last part. "It's not my fault it's the only abandoned place here!" Cam exclaimed as they started walking towards the abanded factory.

Sariel stood unflinchingly on the sidewalk, despite the yelling that came from the van. For the first time in a long time, a genuine smile appeared on her face. Maybe this time I'll be able to convince someone… She thought, drawing in a shaky breath. A few moments after she had started walking, the woman found herself at the large double-doors of the factory. Quietly, she opened them, and walked inside, shutting the large doors as gently as she possibly could. Glancing around the main area, Sariel noticed overturned desks and rusted machines, all of which directed her attention to a frail looking staircase. Maybe one day it was in better condition.
Starting off toward the stairs, Sariel allowed her feet to come off of the ground. She gave the metal stairs a final glance before deciding it would be best if she didn't actually walk up them. Hovering up to the second floor, and about two feet from the rickety staircase, Sariel noticed what looked to be an office. She's in there, Sariel thought, landing on her toes just in front of the door.

Juliet took slow steps, returning to her car. It was like she was in another world, her sense numb. She was frightened, fearing for her life every step she took. Her trembling fingers fought to unlock the car door, once she did, she put her bags in the car. Only then did she hear it.

"No, sir, I don’t. I’m just walking around, trying to get some exercise.

The man she saw before. He was talking - well, lying - to the police. She turned slowly and saw him.

The PI nodded slightly. “Alright, then. Have a good one.” The man in the large trench coat trotted off.
Zackary smirked a savage, satisfied smirk, and ruffled out his flannel. Hell yeah. That excuse always works. He turned, to be faced with the girl from earlier. Except she looked so much more afriad. Fear, or possibly sorrow? It was definitely something. Something that required a contract to fix. He decided to let her speak first, if she so wanted. She could plop down into that car and just drive away, which would most definitely be the wrong path to take.

Juliet jumped slightly as he faced her. Her blue eyes darted left, right, then back at him. "Y-you…. you lied." she pointed out. She honestly didn't know what else to say….expect this. "Who are you?"

Zackary's mismatched, gray eyes bore into hers, trying to catch her attention. He wanted her to look into his wicked gaze and realize who he is.
“I’m Wings,” He answered simply. “I do lie a lot. It just rolls off the tongue…”

She looked into his divergent gray eyes. Odd… She thought, blinking rapidly. "Wings…." she echoed. And as realization dawned on her, her became trapped between fear and awe. "Your a…. a demon…" she took a step back.

Zackary hummed softly, putting his hands in his jean pockets. “Am I? Oh, I didn’t know.” He smirked slightly at his sarcasm. “I am indeed a Demon. Now that you say it.”

Deleted user

She knew this meant trouble. He is trouble, and if you don't get the heck out of here, you'll be in trouble… she thought as she looked up at him once more. "You guys are really starting to look more and more like us…" she muttered.

Deleted user

Zackary crossed his arms with a smirk. “We are. Is there a reason you’re all alone…? Why you're standing alone by yourself? The sorrow and fear on your face has intensified.”

Deleted user

"Because I'd prefer to be by myself." she retorted coldly. She wasn't going to answer any personal questions for this demon. He was going to catch her in a trap, just like one had done to her father. Yet, she couldn't ignore the fact that he read her like a book. Am I really that obvious?

Deleted user

Zackary hummed and crossed his arms. “You may act cold and harsh, but it’s auite obvious you have other things on your mind.” He could feel it buzzing in her soul. The worry, fear… he loved it, but he had to ensnare her into his clutches. Not only that, but make her feel safe. He knew Humans loved to stay safe.

"Yes, much more important other things than staying here and playing 2-questions-2-answers with you." He had no idea the things that she had to deal with. She was questioning the threat on her life. On her baby's life. He was her main concern.

Deleted user

“Then go.” Zackary smiled a bit. He was curious to see if she’d do it. He wanted to know how successful he’s been with trapping her. His little elaborate game of ‘2-questions-2-answers” is not what he’d call it, but a good name for it.

With a nod, she turned to get into her car. But she paused. "Did Gram send you?" she spoke, not even thinking about what she just said. It had eaten away at her the first time she had encountered this demon, sure that he had been sent.
