Zackary gave her an irritated look and started to walk off to the opposite side of the road. His breath rose up into the air, and he watched it, smiling. It was truly wonderful to be a Demon. Of course, Humans who are, oh, so clearly suffering aren’t willing to reach out. He shrugged. The girl he had run into just didn’t realize it yet.
He smirked. She’ll realize… something will come along and she’ll be begging for a contract from some lucky Demon or Demoness…

Okay, so, currently we have no unpaired demon characters. But! I'll make one if you'd like him to have a deal with someone early on?))
I can make one for him, Koffee, if you’d like.
Marrin could probably do it.//
(Whatever works best for y’all, he could even make a deal later in the rp(?))
Yeah, actually Marrin is a good idea since she/they doesn't have a deal with anyone other than her brother at the moment. Though it is up to you guys,))
"I'm not sulking," Cam said, sticking out her tongue. Marrin crossed her arms and clicked her tongue. "Mhm? That really doesn't look like jumping for joy either."
Sariel let a puff of air out through her teeth, and stood up, wobbly on her feet at first. One thing that she absolutely hated about the bodies of humans, was their reliance on balance. Finally standing upright, and steady on her feet, Sariel continued padding down the sidewalk. It had since grown a bit darker, and sky was a dark grey. As she got a tad farther down the street, Sariel spotted a pair on the sidewalk. One was sitting and the other was standing close beside.
"Not sulking," Cam repeated as Marrin gave her a hand. "Come on, I'm sure we can get some tea at the store," Marrin said as Cam got up. "It's not the same," Cam complained, brushing the dirt off of her clothes and pushing away her bangs.
Erik sighed, walking down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. He had just come from the mental hospital, and he just felt even more desperate to help his brother. I just hope he gets better soon… Erik looked up at the sky, trying to distract himself. It will be okay…
Sariel walked closer to the duo, her ash blond hair whipped into her face as the wind continued to tug at her. Despite the wind, her eyes stayed wide open, not bothered by the lack of moisture in the air. Soon the woman found herself next to the strangers. Pausing for a moment, she turned to face them and opened her mouth to speak. "Hello, have you seen any stores that are still open?" She asked, forcing a smile onto her face and hoping it was natural enough. At the very least, Sariel's mark was out of sight.
Marrin looked up at the stranger. "No, though we are looking." She said, mentally telling Cam to hide her mark. Cam did so quickly, hoping that the women hadn't seen it.
(Apologies everyone. I was cut off from internet access for a while.)
Avilasa stood on the street corner, just in front of a abandoned factory. She shivered as a gust of cold blew through her sweater. "Dammit." She muttered, irritated. "Could they show up on time? Just for once?" She started pacing.
Juliet fought the panic that rose in her chest as she walked. Her steps were quick, the heels of her boots clicking along the concrete. Don't look back, don't turn around, keep moving… she thought as she walked. The police would be on the street any minute now, she had to get away. Are those footsteps behind me..? Is he following me?
(Is she hearing Avilasa's footsteps? Or someone else's?)
