Carter rolled his eyes. "Find it yourself, Ferran. I have a gang war to intervene." He started to walk away, further down the boardwalk.

“Bye! Have fun!” Alanna called after, “I heard of a really good cafe they have here.”

"Gang war. I need to stop it. They can't pull off heists for me if they're dead." Carter replied, still walking away.

"What did he mean by gang war?" Mirage said, suddenly visible.

"Gang war. I need to stop it. They can't pull off heists for me if they're dead." Carter replied, still walking away.

“BYE.”

“Didn’t you hear? He’s not going to kill them. I think.”

Ferran sighed. "Knowing Carter, I'd say that that would involve at least one casualty."

"You never know," Carter said, before putting on his sunglasses and calling over a cab.

“Can we get drinks now?”

"OH YEAH!!!!" Ferran exclaimed.

“Let’s gooo!” Alanna proclaimed, running off.

Ferran raced after her, giggling in excitement. "Come on, Mirage!" He called over his shoulder.

Mirage stood there, indecisive on what to do. This gang war sounded very concerning.

Carter shook his head in the cab. "He's three years younger than me, and yet he's one of the most annoying people I've ever met." He muttered.

"What did you say?" The cabbie asked.
"Nothing."
"Great."
The cabbie pulled out a gun and pulled the trigger.

Alanna stopped running when she reached the store.

Ferran slowed down and looked back. "Are…you coming?" He asked, cocking his head.

Alanna froze, she walked backed to Ferran and Mirage.

Carter woke up a an empty room. His hands were tied behind his back, and the bullet wound in his chest was healing very, very slowly.
