El grinned. "Hey!" she called.

Ferran jogged over, a giant grin on his face. "Someone brought their cat here!" He remarked.

(I don't think everyone knows, but the heroes know each other's identities and about their powers and Carter knows about that stuff too)

Carter walked out of the cafe he had been sitting in. He held his latte in one hand and his book in the other. It didn't matter if he was a villain, that was his favorite place to get coffee and they didn't know his identity, so he wouldn't rob them. Speaking of robbing something, he looked at the clock. He had some gang he had picked up in the street pulling off a heist for him, and the alarms would go off in 3…2…1…
"Someone's robbing the bank!"
Carter smiled. This would be fun.

"Guys, I'm getting a sub algebra teacher tomorrow. Do you know how rare it is to get a sub in algebra?" El asked playfully.

"You got a sub?! Wow!"

"I know. And English might even get canceled!" she squealed.
