Mirage turned to Ferran. "We just witnessed a kidnapping." She breathed.

(ALRIGHT IM BACK NOW WHERE WERE WE

OH RIGHT CARTER GOT SHOT)

Ferran nodded. "I say we go after him, even if he is carter."

Alanna nodded slowly.

"Do you want me to follow them?" she said. The cab driver arranging Carter in the backseat.

(Wait was Carter close by or far away?)

(He just got into the cab and got shot, let's just say he wakes up a couple hours later, and you guys are either looking for him or pretending it didn't happen)

"Where am I?" Carter choked out. He tasted blood in his mouth.

"Ah good, you're awake." A familiar voice replied

“Someone kidnapped a supervillain, either that person is super smart, or a total idiot.”

"Guys, make a decision, he's getting in the car."

"Go!" Ferran said.

(WAIT
I'm really confused, Carter is in a room currently after being kidnapped, and you guys are trying to stop his kid napping???)

Mirage blinked out of visibility, and pelted through the crowd (literally through them) and slide through the car door as the man started the car. She curled up on the backseat next to an unconscious Carter.

"Now what?" Ferran asked, turning to Alanna.

“We watch, Mirage is really good at doing her job. Okay, kidding. We should go and stomp on the kidnapper.”

Mirage tried to regulate her breathing and made wild passes at pulling her hair out of her face (Most definitely one of the cons of invisibility) and watched the seaside dissolve into cityscape.
She wondered if the driver was part of a gang.

Ferran nodded and smiled slyly. "Hope you can keep up."

Alanna smirked.
