Shadowpaw took a step away from Bandit, casting a wary glance at the cat he indicated to be Scout. "I'm surprised he didn't take your tail off." She muttered, shifting her gaze back to Bandit. Okay, stay out of Scout's way. Got it.

"Me too. You should've seen what he did to another cat my age, her name was Autumn, but we don't talk about her. She- uh, isn't really with us anymore. Poor thing was exiled from BloodClan before Chill became leader. Autumn lost half of her face and her mouth was torn open. It was so gross." Adderpaw felt uncomfortable around these cats now, he looked over his should at Scout and immediately dipped his head down. Bandit, as much as he hated to admit it, was right. The old cat looked hideous. Noted. Im staying away from him.. Bandit ficked his ear as he turned back towards Shadowpaw. "So, what happens at the Leaf-bare ball?"

"Bandit!" A tom from the group called as he jumped over a cat to get up by them. "I think you're disturbing them." The sleek with and brown patched tom mewed. "Is he bothering you?" He asked the two apprentices.

Bandit groaned, looking over at Quest. Scanning the patched tom he snickered. "Oh, look. You still got that dorky hat on." he joked, adjusting his blue teeth and claw spiked collar. Adderpaw turned towards the new cat, "oh uh, yeah..I guess." Maybe I can hang out with Shadowpaw, ALONE

"Oh yeah." Quest said, "It's for the ball." He looked Bandit up and down. "I don't see you wearing anything." He glanced at Adderpaw and Shadowpaw, "Sorry if we bothered you."

Bandit scoffed, "I'll find something, stop being annoying." he growled, flicking his tail. Adderpaw nervously chuckled, "its fine.." looking up he saw a patrol rushing up to them, I consisted of Grovethorn, Ravenshade, Strangespots, Hollypaw, and Smokespeckle. Ravenshade rushed over and began roughly grooming him as if her were a kit. Adderpaw pushed his mother away with a groan, "stop! im not a kit!" Ravenshade stared at him frightened eyes, "where were you?! and-and." then she paused, "Who are all these cats?!?"

Shadowpaw stepped forward beside Adderpaw. "Shadowstar apparently invited them." She said. "We're taking them to him."

(Hey Spring, do Shadowpaw and Hollypaw know that Smokespeckle is their father? Does he know they're his kits? Who is their mother? I need to know these things because curiosity is driving me crazy!)

okay- so. EXPLANATION TIME! ))

Shadowpaw and Hollypaw where raised by Smokespeckle. Smokespeckle is not their bio father, but they think of him as their father because he was the one who raised them. Smokespeckle had told them multiple time he's not their real father but, they don't care and they love him regardless. Their mother is someone who I haven't figured out a name for- surprisingly- I have an appearance however, and she did die. Their mother was a deaf queen who passed away after kitting Shadow and Holly. ))

so their real father is not from a clan, he's a traveler. He lived on ShadowClan territory for a bit and while there, met Shadow and Holly's mother. Their mother was from ShadowClan. When the father left, the mom felt deeply saddened and missed him deeply, but when she found out she was expecting, in a blind panic she ran out of ShadowClan to try to find the father. She sadly didn't even make it close to where he was and stumbled upon the barn where Junkie lived, and she went into labor. Dying in the process. ))

Chill stepped up, dipping her head to the patrol. "Hello, My name is Chill, BloodClan's leader." All the cats on the patrol looked confused. "Your leader, Shadowstar, came to the city a few moons ago and offered me and my follows a place in your little…ball." Smokespeckle looked over at Shadowpaw with worried eyes. Adderpaw shuffled closer to Shadowpaw, their pelts now touching but neither cat made an effort to move away. "I have asked my followers who wanted to go, and these are all the cats who wanted to go." Adderpaw turned to look at the gathered cats. They seemed more smaller than before… Chill continued. "The others who didn't want to participate are keeping our alleyway protected. I have come speak with Shadowstar…" the ShadowClan cats one patrol looked at each other, saying nothing.

Shadowpaw returned Smokespeckle's gaze with a nod. I'm fine. She glanced at the rest of the patrol. "They could be lying, maybe not." She said, flicking her ear. "Shadowstar's the only one who would know. Shouldn't we bring them to him, just in case?"
