Hunter felt someone’s gaze on him as he was putting the final touches on his sketch. Curiously, he looked up to lock eyes with Luna. He smirked.
“Couldn’t stay away, I see,” he remarked slyly. “Don’t worry, I understand,” his grin widened as he continued. “I mean, who wouldn’t want a piece of this?” He said, pointing to himself arrogantly.
Luna shrugs, "Is it a bad thing?" she smiles. She quickly orders hot chocolate and sits in front of Hunter.
Hunter smirks and leans a bit closer to Luna just to make her squirm.
“Hm, I wonder…” he says, his smirking widening as he continued to lock eyes with her. “Isn’t it?”
Luna backs up a bit, nervous at Hunter's actions towards her. "Ah so… are you going to draw me or not?"
Satisfied from her reaction, Hunter leaned back and nodded.
“Yup, gonna start drawing. This’ll take a while, so try not to move,”
Hunter instructed, his voice getting a bit serious. “Just make whatever pose you want and stay still. If you move, it’ll disrupt the sketch and I’ll have to start again.”
Luna posed in a way unknown to her, she added a smile as she looked at Hunter, busy with his drawing.
This was much better than imagining Luna in his head. She was right here in front of him and he wouldn’t have a hard time sketching her.
Finishing the outline of her face, Hunter began to sketch her eyes. One managed to be perfect, but the other ended up crooked. Hunter cursed to himself and erased it before trying again. He succeeded. He drew her nose as best as he could, and then her lips. When he was done with the face, he looked at Luna hard, trying to memorize each detail. Narrowing his eyes, he went back to his sketchbook and started drawing her hair, the way it fell over her eyes and seemed to tickle her neck.
Time seemed to slip by quickly, and Hunter could tell that Luna was getting uncomfortable with the same position for the past twenty minutes. He was proud to say that he worked well given a time limit, so he was halfway done when the first twenty minutes went by. He couldn’t say anything to Luna, mostly because if she laughed, her posture would be ruined.
Hunter was lying when he said if she moved, he’d have to start over again. He was able to memorize each and every detail, and even if she’s moved now, he’d still remember the way she was sitting, how her body was curved and the sweet little smile on her features, and especially the slight twinkle in her eyes.
“I’m almost done,” he murmured after five more minutes, biting his lip as he moved on to draw her legs. Dissatisfied, he erased them and started to redraw, knowing it had to be nothing but perfect.
After what seemed like an hour at most, he put his pencil down and smiled.
“You can move now,” he said, not looking away from the sketch. Then, he slowly reached out to hand Luna the book for her to see.
Luna finally relaxed from her pose which had only begun to become uncomfortable. She slowly grabbed the book to see how he did and almost dropped it from how realistic it was. She smiled at Hunter gratefully, "It looks like a black and white picture of me!" she commented. She handed back the book to Hunter, "Your attention to detail is amazing, and it makes your sketches look like pictures!" she complimented.
Hunter smiled in satisfaction.
“Yeah, I’m pretty damn good, aren’t I?” he boasted, grinning. “So you said you write. Mind if I read a sample? It’ll only be fair.”
Alyssa groaned. She had been waiting in Luna's house for three hours now. She stretched herself out on her cousin's bed and put down the book she was reading. God, she was reading a book! She never did that. As much as Alyssa wanted Lunter to be a thing, she was getting sick of waiting in Luna's house. As she was about to get up, her phone buzzed. She glanced at it and saw a text from Luna.
"I'm with Hunter at the moment, you can stop being a pest"
"Uh well… I don't really carry around samples of my book to give out. However, I do have one of my finished books I hope to get published soon. It's the second copy of it ever." Luna handed Hunter a stack of papers with a picture at the front and the name "Alma" written at the top.
Alyssa smirked.
Is he drawing you? Like in Titanic?
She texted to Luna.
Luna panicked and quickly responded, "OH MY GOSH YOU PERV NO OF COURSE NOT! (Even if I wish it was like that)" then put her phone away before Hunter saw what she wrote.
Alyssa just laughed. She sighed and then realized she was still at Luna's house.
"Frick," she said to herself. She got out of Luna's bed, tidied it a little, then left the house.
As Alyssa made her way home, she couldn't stop thinking about Luna and Hunter. Well, actually she couldn't stop thinking of Luna and Hunter taking a romantic vacation on the Titanic, eating in first class, having romantic sleepovers, painting pictures, and oh! Of course, the epic final where they "never let go."
That's when an idea came to Alyssa. A brilliant idea. Alyssa was an actress. And a rich one at that. If only there was a way to get Luna and Hunter on a cruise…
With much excitement, Alyssa ran straight home. She burst through the door to her modern mansion, and screamed, "I NEED MONEY FOR A CRUISE!"
Alyssa's mom looked up at her from the stove. She was cooking up something. Alyssa didn't know what it was, but damn it smelled good.
"Darling, do have any idea how much that would cost? And besides, I am way to busy for a cruise at the moment. Clients, appointments-"
Alyssa interrupted her. "No mom! I would use my money from my guest part on Once Upon a Time! And not for us! For cousin Luna and her boyfriend!"
"You can have that copy of Alma for free… if you want. And if you ever get bored of it, you can give it back." Luna told Hunter.
Alyssa 's mother stared at her blankly.
"I'm sorry. Luna and her-"
"Boyfriend, yes. They met at the coffee shop. He is super hot and really nice, and talented, and cliche, and super hot-"
"Darling It's your money. If you want to spend it on other people, you may."
Alyssa shrieked in excitement and ran as fast as she could to Hot Beans.
Hunter shook his head.
“I wouldn’t do that,” he said to Luna. “I’ll buy it from you. I’ll be your first buyer. And I’m sure it’ll be interesting. I may not look like it, but I love reading.”
"Ah… okay… if you insist. But I can give it to you for free, it's only fair." Luna said to Hunter.
Hunter shook his head.
“Nah, it’s okay. Like I said, I’ll be your first buyer,” he gave a small smile. “Besides, it wouldn’t cost me a lot.”
I'm sending #Lunter5ever!!! on a cruise!
Alyssa texted to Luna.
You can NOT object! I'll get you something nice like Regent or Crystal Lines!
“Well,” Hunter said, standing up and stretching. “I need to get home. I got a lot of stuff I need to work on. I’ll see you tomorrow, if I’m lucky.”
Lun raised her eyebrow, "Didn't know seeing me was lucky for you. I don't know what would warrant such an honor?" she said to Hunter.
"Who wouldn't want to see such a beauty as yourself?" Hunter shot back, a lazy smirk on his lips. "I'd consider myself lucky."
