The taxi driver pulled up into the driveway of Luna's house and parked the car. "This it?" he asked sleepily.
"Sure is hot-stuff," replied Alyssa. She gave the driver a large tip and slammed the door behind her. When she saw the driver pull out of the driveway, and speed down the road, she dug her hand into the vase of a plant.
"Aha! There it is," Alyssa said as she held a key in her hands.
She unlocked the door, and before she closed the door behind her, she put the key back in its place.
"Wow, being an author is really paying off," she said as she entered the cozy house of her cousin. "I could get used to this."
She had an amazing plan all thought out-
She knew Luna would never let her spend the night, so she would hide in her house till she was about to go to bed, (when Luna would be the most vulnerable) and then convince her to do something about Lunter.
Luna takes out her phone and sends to Alyssa through text "You better not be at my house you pest" then turns her attention back to Kenzie and Hunter. And it secretly bothered her that they were sitting together across from her.
Alyssa replied
"No I'm not at your house you fart"
Luna smiled and commented, "I set up a camera in my house and I can see you, you faker."
Alyssa smiled to herself. Unfortunately, Luna could not see Alyssa. The video was from three months ago. Alyssa laughed. This was going as planned.
Luna turns to Hunter and Kenzie, "I have to go… well not really have to, it's just my social battery just died…gotta go recharge it." she managed to get out as she runs out of the shop and sprints to her house.
" "Boi so what if I am at your house?" "
Alyssa typed.
At first, Hunter just watched Luna speed off in silence. He couldn't believe that she'd just abandon him, but it wasn't her fault.
He peeked at Kenzie from the corner of his eyes and then smirked when an idea popped into his head. He threw his arms around Kenzie and smirked at her.
"Well, looks like it's just you and me," he said, his voice suggestive. He wouldn't have said it if he wasn't sure Kenzie would remember. Actually, he wanted her to remember.
Because he did the exact same thing five years ago when they first met in school.
Luna felt bad that she had left Hunter and decided to call him, but she couldn't recognize his name or number on her phone. She began to wonder what he put in her phone for his contact name and wondered if he'd ever call her.
(I've got to disappear for a few days…) :(
(ok, so I just want to know… are you guys the gender you say you are, or not? sorry for asking, I'm just curious)
(I am- but you know that @LobitaPoblana)
(Awh ;^; well miss you, @SorceressWriter! I hope it’s another false alarm tho)
Hunter was busy fiddling with his phone when he figured he should send Luna a text. He still had to draw her, as he had promised, and they hadn’t decided a time or place for it yet. So he opened his messages and wrote her a message.
’Guess who? ;)’
He couldn’t wait for her to realize he’d saved his number as “Hottie2.0”
(I know that sounds cringy but this IS a cliche)
(I’m a girl xD. I usually do girls but I try to get used to boys too)
Luna sees the text and then looks at the name, "Hottie2.0? Who the heck…" then she realized it could only be Hunter. "Hottie2.0? Was that needed, Hunter?" she responded.
Hunter laughed at her text.
’Yes,’ he replied, chuckling quietly. ’Yes it was xD’
"On another note, do you wanna hang out sometime tomorrow?" Luna texted. "I wonder if he still remembers that I let him draw me?" she thinks.
”Sure,” Hunter replied. “I could draw you tomorrow, too.”
"I'm guessing we're gonna meet up at Hot Beans again?" Luna comments.
”You guessed correct,” Hunter added a winky face at the end.
"What is my name on your phone?" Luna asks Hunter through text.
”Not telling~😏” Hunter sent the reply, grinning.
He took out his sketchbook to sketch while waiting for Luna’s reply. His eyes fell on a couple a few tables away from his and thought they were too cute. He took out his pencil and began to sketch.
Luna decided not to enter her house out of fear of what Alyssa was doing, so she decided to head back to the shop. When she got there, Hunter finished his sketch and was refining it as much as he could.
