"If you're dreaming, I'm having the same dream," Kenzie breathed. "And I hope I never have to wake up… Husband."

Hunter chuckled, hugging her tighter.
“Thank you, Kenzie,” he breathed out quietly. “For giving this life to me…”

"No, thank you for making this possible," Kenzie whispered. "Now, c'mon. We've gotta walk back up that aisle and head to the reception area."

Hunter nodded, pulling away from Kenzie and taking her hand instead before walking back up the aisle. He couldn't believe it. He was now a married man.

(She wants to let you know that she's sorry she hasn't wanted to rp in a while.)

(Tell her it's okay!)

The guests cheered as the bride and groom made their way up the aisle, and Kenzie blushed. She kept her gaze either forward or on the ground to avoid seeing the excited stares of their family and friends.

"Hunter," she whispered with a wide grin when they were almost out the door. "We're married!"

Hunter grinned back, squeezing Kenzie's hand tightly.
"Can't believe it, really," he shook his head with a chuckle. "But who would, in my position?"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Sure thing!)

Kenzie and Hunter sat at the long table meant for the wedding party, bridesmaids beside the bride, groomsmen beside the groom. The guests were spread out at tables, just finishing up the last of their food and waiting for cake. That would have to wait, though, until the speeches had been made.

As the best man, Leo would be going first. Willow would be next, since she was the maid of honor. After them, it was free for all.

Leo finally stood up, taking a deep breath, gaining everyone's attention. He looked at Hunter and cracked a smile.
"I first met Hunter when I was nine when he stole my cake," he said in an exasperated sigh. "I mean, I clearly had it first. Dude just didn't know when to give up." Hunter chuckled, making Leo roll his eyes. "Because of him, both of us couldn't have the cake." He paused, before continuing. "He was such a mama's kid, always trailing after her, always listening to her, never going against her word. It was like little ducklings following mama duck until they're old enough to survive on their own." This time, Hunter was the one to roll his eyes. "As you can tell, I was very much angry with a wasted cake. We got into an argument, got locked up together, and then ended up as friends," Leo looked at Kenzie with a mischievous grin. "Has he ever told you the paint story?" Hearing that, Hunter's eyes widened in alarm. Leo snickered. "He once broke into his mother's room, took out her paints and tried to paint. It was a disaster. I even have a picture of it. And no, Hunter, I didn't delete all of them. Anyway, Hunter's a very stubborn person. He sleeps a lot, and let me tell you, he sometimes hogs all the blankets to himself," he rolled his eyes. "We once stayed in the same room together because our mothers wanted us close, and I caught a cold the other day because I just couldn't wrap myself in a blanket. That, and I was also on the floor," he caught Hunter, who had his face down, trying to contain his laughter, the tips of his ears pink. "He's also a clean freak. Man, make a small mess and he'll go crazy. This, however, doesn't include the mess he makes with his sketches. He also has a ginormous stomach. Literally, he eats a lot and never gains weight. Meanwhile, I eat even one small brownie and I'll gain like fifty kg," he rolled his eyes again. "Although he's a jerk and is always mean to me, Hunter… he means a lot to me. More than a best friend. I can't believe you're a married man now, Hunt. Man, it was like yesterday when you were still single and unbearably stupid." He turned to Kenzie again. "He's going to drive you crazy, sister-in-law, but he's also going to keep you happy. You already know that, but I'll say it again. Hunter will do everything he can to make sure you're smiling, that you're happy. He'll ignore his own discomfort and pains for you, and if you ask him to, he'll buy the whole world for you. So please, take care of him and make sure he's happy, too. I hope both of you live peacefully for the rest of your lives together. Congratulations!"

(Dude… I can't top that…)

Kenzie was grinning at the speech, and she nudged Hunter playfully at the part about the paint. When Leo finished his speech, she leaned over a bit and mouthed "Thank you" with a wide grin.

Willow stood up and smiled at the crowd before she started to speak.

"Hi, everyone. My name is Willow Bryant, and I'm McKenzie's best friend. Or… I was her best friend, until she and Hunter got together," she started with a light laugh. "Anyway, I met Kenzie right before college. And yes, I do know that we really haven't known each other for very long compared to Hunter and Leo. But as I was saying, we met right before college at an orientation class. She'd just dropped everything she was holding onto my foot as we were walking around campus with our group. After she had apologized profusely and tried to pick her things up, I assured her that it was okay and introduced myself. Long story short, we've been best friends ever since.

"So, when she came back to her apartment where I was waiting for her one day, a grinning and blushing mess–" Kenzie snorted, then quickly covered her mouth. Had that really been what she looked like, or was Willow exaggerating? "– I asked her what happened. She started telling me about her old friend Hunter, who she had met in high school, I think it was." She glanced at Kenzie to confirm the details and received an affirming nod. "Yeah, so she told me that story and how they had fallen out of touch. Then, that changed when they ran into each other at a coffee shop. Soon after that, they started dating. On their first date they actually dragged Leo and I along, but that's a story for another time." Kenzie rolled her eyes, blushing when she remembered the details from that night. Willow shot her a grin before continuing, "The girl was totally hooked after that night. I mean, more so than usual. I couldn't believe it when I saw that ring on her finger meaning she was engaged. And now we're here, at your wedding!" She laughed, shaking her head. "Man, time just flew by, didn't it?

"Anyway, I'm so happy for you, and I wish you all the best for your marriage. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. McArthur; may you have a long and happy life together," Willow finished with a grin at the newlyweds before sitting down. Remembering that she wanted to say one last thing, she stood back up. "Oh, and Hunter? Don't forget when I said to you on your guys' first date. I still stand by that."

(Sorry! Notebook was refusing to let me reply…)

Hunter smirked when Willow mentioned Kenzie's reaction upon seeing Hunter again, and lightly nudged her back. He'd have to thank Willow for that one.
"Of course not, Willow," Hunter replied with a serious look on his features. "I'd like to live a few more years. But anyway, thanks a lot, Willow," he grinned, proud.

(Dude… I can't top that…)

(Grins sure you can! Your speech was just as great!)

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Oof, dang…)

Kenzie was blushing profusely by the time Willow's speech was over, and she looked down at her lap with a smile. How could she help it if she had been a little excited that her – cough attractive cough – old friend had randomly showed up at one of her favorite coffee places?

"Any time," Willow laughed as she sat down again. "And, hey! If you need any embarrassing stories, feel free to ask!"

Kenzie looked over to glare at her friend, but it wasn't a very convincing glare because of the blush still on her cheeks and the smile playing on her lips.

Hunter shot her a thumbs-up.
"The offer's open from my side, too!" he replied, but for Leo. Leo groaned, already regretting what he said in his speech. He was not looking forward to the embarrassing moments.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Kenzie chuckled and nudged Hunter gently. Someone started clinking their spoon or fork against their glass, and others soon followed. The guests wanted the newlyweds to kiss, it would seem.

(Skip to when they cut the cake? Kenzie is totally going to shove it in his face.)

Deleted user

(Yup! Skip! :D)

"All right!" Leo got up excitedly. "Is it time to cut the cake yet? Honestly, I can't wait."

(Question, when does the bride throw the bouquet?)
