"It's really hot, for starters. There are a lot of large bugs, but a lot of them are really pretty and completely harmless. There are a lot of monkeys. And they are hilarious. There are a lot of gigantic flowers…. " Leah told Rafael as much about the Amazon as she could.

Kenzie blew out a heavy breath.

"Okay," she sighed, then bit her lip in thought. "You can just drop me off at home if you need to be there now. I can just make something when I get home."

“What kind of a boyfriend would I be if I don’t feed my girlfriend?” Hunter joked. “I know you can handle yourself perfectly, but let me do it. It’s no problem.”

"Well, I mean, if you insist," Kenzie conceded playfully. "I suppose that's okay…"

“That sounds beautiful…..” Rafael sighed wistfully. “Have you ever been to Venice? One of my favourite cities in the world.”

Hunter grinned.
“Let’s go, then,” he wrapped an arm around Kenzie. “Before Noah eats up Henry. Henry’s a sensitive soul.”

"Hm," Kenzie hummed, grinning as she wrapped her own arm around Hunter.

Hunter rolled down the window, handing the boy money as he grabbed the McDonalds bag from him.
“Have a good day, sir,” said the young teenager, smiling politely as he reached out to give Hunter his change. Hunter nodded, returning his smile.
“Keep the change,” Hunter told the boy, watching with amusement as the boy’s eyes widened in disbelief. Hunter wished the boy a good day and rolled up his window before driving off to Kenzie’s place to drop her off.

“That sounds beautiful…..” Rafael sighed wistfully. “Have you ever been to Venice? One of my favourite cities in the world.”

"I uhh…………I went a few years ago. With my whole family. Before………….before…………" Leah couldn't bring herself to finish the sentence.

Rafael paused, eyes softening with sympathy. He didn't pry, it wasn't any of his business, only nodded to show he understood.

Leah nodded back. "Okay, why don't we talk about something happier?"

Rafael thought for a moment. "Are you participating in any homeless charities right now?"

"Not currently. I am, however, volunteering at an animal shelter. You?"

“Animal shelter sound cool! I volunteer at a homeless shelter downtown called The Mercer Foundation, also at an art studio as an assistant teacher, but I’m payed for that.”

Jasmine looked over when she heard her phone ping and seeing it was Matthew grinned like a school girl and sat on her bed.

"Come back soon bae. But enjoy your cruise too. It's so hard to decide!"
