Sam's eyes were wide open, and yet they only saw fires and demons, with the occasional tsunami. So when Ruby and Aidan came by, they assumed that the two were just more figments of their imagination, and drew the small dagger at their side, preparing to stab the two through their hearts.
“That person is totally going to stab us.” Ruby whispered to Aidan, eyeing Sam warily.
Aidan backed away slightly, raising his arms. "Listen…buddy." He decided on using 'buddy', not able to figure out if this person was a boy or girl. "Please….don't stab us."
"Leave, Jasper. Haven't you caused enough damage?" Sam said bitterly, slashing the knife in the air. One slice… and the hallucinations would disappear, like they always did.
“Jasper?” Ruby repeated, furrowing her eyebrows, “Neither of us are whom you speak of.”
"No. Stop! Haven't you lied to me enough already?" Sam yelled, frustrated.
“This person is crazy,” Ruby muttered to Aidan.
Sam suddenly felt the hallucinations being purged out of their system, and their eyes rolled back in their hand, and a red smoke erupted from their pores. "'If I die, I die in my sleep,'" they muttered, right before they fell unconscious.
“Um.” Ruby said, looking at Sam then Aidan, then at Sam, then at Aidan.
(can you guys take sam to the infirmary, and shit goes down)
(Ah okie, I’m just gonna wait for Puffy Poffy.)
Aidan shrugged at Ruby. "Don't look at me. I don't know what kind of creepy sh** that was."
Ruby had been in another call when Zack had called, so he left it alone for now and went started off towards the hospital. That's where they were, last he had heard from Ruby.
“Stop cussing,” Ruby complained, lightly hitting his forehead. Then she looked at Sam, “Should we bring… h… them to the infirmary?”
He shrugged again. "I guess that would be the right thing to do…even though…they…almost killed us."
“I’ll burn them if they do that again,” Ruby muttered, and tiny sparks hitting the ground.
She brushed some hair back with her hand, “So bringing them to the infirmary it is,” She looked at Aidan and his hurt side, “I’ll do it by myself, just have to drag them their, right? Should be easy enough.”
It was not easy enough.
Sparks came from her hair, Ruby was tired. “I never knew that it was that far from the hospital. Well we’re nearly there…” Ruby said to herself, looking st the hospital entrance.
Aidan limped alongside her. "Are you sure you don't need help?"
“No no, I’m fine.” Ruby said, catching more of her breadth, “We’re nearly there anyways.”
After a little more dragging, she actually made it to the entrance. “So do I have to… drag this body… in.”
"We can probably find someone here to bring them in on a stretcher." He adjusted his shirt so that his wound couldn't be seen. Aidan made his way to the front desk, pointing back at Ruby and the other person. "Hi. My…friend is injured. We're gonna need someone to get a stretcher."
The front desk lady nodded and called someone. Then go Aidan, she said, “They’ll be here in a minute.”
Aidan nodded before returning to Ruby, trying to hide his limp. "They said someone will be here in a minute."
Zack finished his jog and found himself at the infirmiry door. With Vix at his side he entered, and right away Vix went haywire, yipping and running like mad.Zack finally got ahold of her, and while he was putting on her leash (which he very rarely did…) he noticed Ruby and Aidan, with someone lying unconcious nearby. Zack couldn't tell by a glance if they were male or female.
He waved and walked over, Vix still straining on her leash.
Aidan noticed Zack walking towards them. He waved, wincing slightly. "Hey Zack."
"So what's up? Where's Emma?" He asked, then slowed himself. If Aidan was hurt, and Ruby was sensible, they probably didn't find her. Inwardly cursing himself for is own aggresiveness, he raised a finger, took a breath, and began again.
"What happened?"
