“Alright, who’s next?” Ruby asked darkly, summoning a fire on her palms, “And while someone answers me… someone call the emergency room.”
Aidan gave in to his mind, which was telling him to stop being so brave and to freaking fall asleep. He did just that, his body relaxing slightly as he slipped into unconsciousness.
Sam almost cried out in worry when Alex got burned, but there was no time to worry now. One of the attackers- Eleni, most likely- yelled in anger and fear. "You shall not get us!" she said, twirling her hand. A dark portal opened up beneath the four "terrorists," and they were gone.
"Emma" turned to Ruby in rage, and then stopped, remembering that they had to keep their identity secret, instead transforming her expression into worry. "Is he going to be okay?!" she asked, concerned. Her hands shook, not in worry over Aidan, but over Phoenix, as they got the bottle of high-tech glue from their bag. This boy didn't even deserve it! "Here. Pour this over the wound. It's a strong polymer that's going to dry instantly as soon as it's opened and slow the flow of blood,"
(Is she talking to Aidan?)
(to Ruby)
(alright)
“Alright.” Ruby said, and did as she said. She had a flicker of anger…
"Rubes, Aidan's losing a lot of blood!" Emma said as the emergency ambulance pulled up. The three could only watch helplessly as Aidan was taken away.
“Well, wanna go to the hospital?”
(are hospitals the same in this rp?)
(i think so, idk… maybe there's a special section for people with powers?)
(Alright. Aidan is completely knocked out for now so…I can't really do anything)
(D:)
(Hey sorry, but my life is in shambles-not really but kinda. I need to catch up on some work and pull my shambles together. I almost spend about every hour that I’m awake on this website, and my grades aren’t happy. So I’m going to be off this website for most of this week, I might be on for a little but not much. Sorry!)
(that's fine, hope your grades get better!)
(same here!)
(Good luck!) Zack reappeared, his knife bloody from where he had tusseled with one of the other attackers. No kills, but definitely damage. He cursed and spat in his own rage.
"No! No, this is not right! Zavoem are smarter than this! We are careful with our battles. We are slight, clever, resourceful. They were bashful, loud. They're breakaways, a splinter group. They have to be!"
Zack paced back and forth, anger pulsing in his blood. Suddenly he turned an pointed to Emma, who was tending to Aidan's wounds.
"You. You know pre-war history better than anyone. Who's responsible?"
(Aw thanks. :D)
Perhaps a bit too dumbed down, Sam thought regretfully. Emma closed their- no, her- eyes, pretending to think. "Maybe… that's it! The Silver Serpents! Remember those rabble rousers who formed a secret society to tip the scales - get it? Scales? And they're snakes? No? Alright then - in favor of Zavoem, even though Zavoem publicly denounced them? Unfortunately, no one has ever been able to find out their real identities," Because they were secretly Illeyitome, you clods.
Zack was about to shred her where she stood as she tried to joke around. When she finally explained, he was out the door in an instant, whistling to Vix and making his way toward the academy. There was plenty of info concerning the war there. He just had to find the right stuff.
His daggers found their places back at his side.
Aidan blinked a few times, the bright light in the sterile room blinding him. It took him a few seconds to remember what had happened, but the searing pain in his side reminded him of the previous events.
//hey so I left awhile ago without telling anyone accidentally so i’ll Stalk now :P
Zack found himself standing at the large door to the Academy library. Of course, the door was locked, but he had always had a way with alternate routes and clearing obstacles. The janitor was deaf, so he didn't hear the jangle of his own keys when Zack took them.
The room itself, once inside, didn't seem so large. It was illusion caused by the bookcases, being pressed so close and with so low a ceiling. It felt more like a maze. The attendant's desk was on the other side. Zig-zagging through the cases, he made his way there.
(how about now he finds out that emma is actually a spy?)
