His gaze softened. She needed him now, and he couldn’t leave her. Hopefully he could at least see Dove later, or she would say goodbye before she left. Ash watched as the little nymph clung to his shirt like a baby possum to its mother. She hadn’t reverted to her plant form, so perhaps she was only napping for a short while.

She rolled around a little bit in her sleep before nuzzling more into his arms and into his chest, taking in his body heat. She slept for a good while before eventually moving to wake up again in his arms and rubbed her eyes.
"mm…"

After a while he slowly and carefully laid them onto the ground, the soft grass like a blanket for them to lay on. Ash shielded Lillian with his arms and his coat, and after a while he too dozed off. He was still asleep when she woke, his curly hair tickling his eyelashes.

Azriel woke up groggily rubbing his eyes and spreading the charcoal under his eyes as he did, he yawned and got up, heading into the bathroom of the eerily quiet cabin. I can't believe this is actually real he thought and looked into the mirror, in which he had charcoal under his eyes, on the tip of his nose a a singular swipe of it on his right cheekbone. At the sight he cracked a grin and pulled out his phone, it wasn't working because it didn't have service but he took a picture of himself in the mirror using his camera.

She rubbed her eyes, softly letting out a yawn as she did so. She looked up at his face and noticed that his eyes were closed, then heard his gentle steady breath and saw he was sleeping, well observed after poking him softly in the cheek. She just nuzzled up even closer to him and whispered something softly, before closing her eyes again.

Chiron peered over the map, his face becoming more distraught as he looked at it. "It would have been more helpful if Hercules had told us who had taken his sons and who we're up against." He leaned back. "Why your final destination is in Canada is a mystery to me. I suppose all the stops it says for you to make will show who is responsible for this. I know for certain one of these stops is to Hades. Who is waiting for you at the others, I'm not sure. Be sure to keep your guard about yourself. We don't know who is friend or foe."

@Tired-but-passionate

It seemed to be a standard political map of North America, red marks and scribbles littering the thin paper. Dove was silent, staring at it until she heard Chiron’s words. Heracles’ arrival was quite jarring, but she at least remembered the basics of what he had said.
“Um, Mr. Chiron, sir?” She said softly. She always addressed him as ‘Mr.,’ out of politeness. “I believe Heracles did say who stole his sons. It was Hippolyta, right? Though it is strange; he didn’t say why, nor why his sons being stolen matters so much.” She paused, realized her words, and amended, “W— well, they are his sons, but I think we all know that gods are rarely noted for their good parenting skills. Who are these sons of his, anyway?”
All she knew about them is that they existed. Not a lot had been written about them. The only very notable children that Heracles had been killed… by Heracles himself. So the sons he mentioned now had to be the ones he had sired with Hibe, the goddess of youth.
Dove then made a soft gasp. Hibe, of course. “Do you think we can ask Hibe for help? She is the mother, after all.”

@ShadeStar

Wendi was quiet, simply absorbing what everyone said. She was running through her own thoughts as she gave a slight nod to Dove. Hibe would be a good bet, but, "I don't think we'll be able to talk to Hibe. It's hard to contact gods and for lesser-known gods like Hibe, it's even harder. Besides, it might not even be her kids that we're talking about. Heracles probably slept around as a god just as much as he did when he was a half-blood like us."

Wynn leaned over, hand on his chin in thought as he looked over the map, absorbing what people were saying all the while that he was doing this. He studied the map for aa few seconds or so before glancing around at everyone and siting back up with an internal sigh, he rubbed his face as he tried to think of what they could do.
"Right…though what other leads do we have?"
