"Huh." A quest? Astrid looked in the direction of the Big House. I wonder what happened to them, She thought, turning to walk away. Then she stopped. "Only one way to find out," She muttered to herself. She turned around and started walking towards the building.
"And I'll make sure you won't," Wendi assured Dove having been silently listening to the entire conversation. She was standing there after all. She gave Ash a weary smile, "I got chosen as well. Everything we'll be fine Dove, I promise."
Dove glanced over to her and nodded gratefully. Ash returned the smile. "Hey, Wendi. Wow, you too? Is this your first quest?"
Lilian waited for what seemed like hours, and the more she waited the more anxious she seemed to get.
She couldn't just wait forever…she had to go after him and see if he was okay.
He was all she had left..
She went back to her human form and she moved to run in the direction that she had seen him go into and as soon as she saw him she ran over to him and clinged onto his leg hiding behind him from Dove and Wendi since they were humans…
Ash looked down, surprised to find the nymph clinging to him. “Lilly? What are you doing here? Aren’t you cold? You’re still weak.” He spoke in a sort of motherly fashion, concerned about her. Letting go of one of Dove’s hands, he reached down to rest his own hand on her head.
Dove glanced downward, spotting the shifty girl as she approached. “Lilly? You mean your nymph friend?”
Wendi kept an eye on the nymph before answering Ash's question, "I mean sorta? I've been on maybe one before, but that was to help out a satyr with their mission. So this is my first like actual quest."
Amelia watched the girl run away before turning her attention to Wynn. "Come on, let's get to the Big House. The others are probably waiting for us."
Amelia subconsciously slipped her hand into his and pulled him along with her. She walked quietly and slowly, lost in her own thoughts.
"i-i…uhm.." she was trying to keep as hidden as possible from the humans, she was shaking slightly as she felt there eyes on her. She didn't know any nice humans…just the ones to chase you…and to kill your mother kind of human.
"Y-you w-were gone…a-a long t-time.." she mumbled, clinging desperately to his leg. "I g-got worried.."
He felt as Amelia slipped her hand into his and though it was unusual…it felt nice, it felt like her hand just simply locked into place, a perfect fit. He smiled softly as the feeling went away and he just walked with her holding hands. He never thought he would actually be doing this with her but here he was.
“Ah, I see,” Ash replied to Wendi, then looked back down and chuckled. “Yes, my nymph friend. Lilly, I wasn’t gone for that long, and my friends are alright, so there’s no need to worry.” He ruffled her head as Dove gazed curiously at her, then looked away. She knew when someone was anxious when she saw it.
Squeezing the satyr’s hand, she said, “Um, thanks Ash, and Wendi. I feel better now, but we should probably get to the Big House.”
"Oh yeah," Wendi replied to Dove and gave Ash a wave before beginning to make her way to the Big House, "I'll race you there Dove?"
Amelia leaned into him a bit more, using him as a clutch. Just as they reached the Big House, she paused. She looked at Wynn, still holding his hand. "Do you think everything is going to be alright? That it's going to be fine? And don't lie to me either."
Wynn noticed as she leaned into him a little bit more. He looked down at her, and used his other hand to move hair out of her face with a warm smile.
"Amelia, I know everything is going to be alright because it will be, whatever problem happens we can figure it out. Together."
Lily just continued to cling to ash, muttering how it felt like it had been ages. She did however peek out from behind ash to look at Dove, she seemed really pretty at least in her eyes.
She was trying to muster up the courage to say hi, but when she finally did it dove went to leave.
"u-um..hi.." she whispered out, towards dove, as she clung to ashes leg.
Dove managed a chuckle. “Sure, why not?” She said to Wendi. Running might improve her mood more, even if she didn’t feel like it. She quickly hugged Ash, who said, “Good luck,” before Dove heard the nymph’s whisper. She looked down and gave her a small wave.
“Um, hi.” She wasn’t really experienced with talking to nymphs, but this one was cute, and besides, she was Ash’s friend. “Lilly, right? Nice to meet you, I gotta race.”
She looked back to Wendi and said, “Let’s go,” before dashing out of the mess hall. She was kind of slow, and didn’t expect to beat her friend there, but it didn’t matter.
Ash watched them go, then looked back down at Lillian. “Alright, I’m here now. Do you need to go back to the lake? I wouldn’t want you going out when you’re still healing.”
"Hey! No head starts!" Wendi began dashing after Dove with a grin on her face. She was glad to make her Dove look a little happier than beforehand. Hopefully, she would be able to keep it that way.
Wynn noticed as she leaned into him a little bit more. He looked down at her, and used his other hand to move hair out of her face with a warm smile.
"Amelia, I know everything is going to be alright because it will be, whatever problem happens we can figure it out. Together."
Amelia closed her eyes, leaning into his hand slightly. She took a deep breath and nodded her head. "Okay, okay. We got this. I'm really starting to wish I paid more attention in training now."
Wynn: his face tinted slightly when she leaned into his hand, but he just continued to smile at her.
"if you need, I can help teach you some things that you may have missed in training." He chuckled.
"I might take you up on that." Amelia smiled before continuing their walk to the Big House. It was a weird name but fit the house, as it was big. As they reached the door, she finally released his hand and walked in and up the stairs to the meeting room. The classic ping ping table with chairs scattered around it. Chiron had yet to get there.
“You know I’m slow!” Dove laughed. “It’s only fair!”
As she expected, her friend caught up with her. They stayed side by side until they were some yards away from the Big House, when Wendi started passing her. They came up just as Wynn and Amelia walked inside.
“See… you beat me even when I had a head-start,” Dove panted.
Wendi let out a little whoop as she beat Dove. She grinned over at Dove also panting ever so slightly, "It's still not fair! Think about how much sooner I could have gotten here before you if we had started at the same time"
Dove managed a chuckle. “Sure, why not?” She said to Wendi. Running might improve her mood more, even if she didn’t feel like it. She quickly hugged Ash, who said, “Good luck,” before Dove heard the nymph’s whisper. She looked down and gave her a small wave.

Do you need to go back to the lake? I wouldn’t want you going out when you’re still healing.”
Her eyes widened slightly when dove said hi back, and she just muttered something back to Dove looking down as she ran with her friend.
These humans were nice…?
She was shocked and in slight awe at that face.
She looked back up at ash, "um.. probably should go back.."
He chuckled, "Alright then, I look forward to it." He smiled at her, walking with her to the Big house.
When she released his hand he let his hand fall to his side. His hand felt a little empty without her hand in his but he wasn't going to say anything, she had let go so he wouldn't hold on.
They walked into the ping pong table meeting room, "Hm..no one's here yet, wanna play?"
Azriel woke up, his face planted on his sketchbook. He sat up slowly, rubbing his charcoal covered hands across his face, he looked into the mirror and realised he was covered in charcoal on various places on his face. Above his left eyebrow, the tip of his nose, the right corner of his mouth and on the middle of his chin, he went into the bathroom, looking into the mirror and wetting his hands and wiping the charcoal off.
"Holy mother of hail" Azriel says while she scrubs his skin a solid pink. He pats his face dry with a towel and goes back to his bunk, arranging his things on the shelf next to his bed as well as working on putting up the polaroids of him and his old friends, Emma, Dylan, Esther and Paulina. He makes the polaroids form neat horizontal rows on his wall, to the left of his shelf and puts up a Harry Potter, Ravenclaw poster to the right of it, once he is done he stands up, hands on his hips and looks at his work.
"This place is starting to look more homey by the minute if I must say" he says to himself in the silent, empty cabin.
