Name: Victoria Annamaria Coral de Léon (but everybody just calls her Coral)

Powers, if any: She has chlorokinesis, and is able to induce/heal madness. She doesn't have much control over her madness powers at the moment, so many people see her as a ticking time bomb.

Weapons: She's not much of a fighter, but she does use a sword.

Appearance: She has dark skin with dark brown shoulder-length curly hair and purple eyes that look like dark blue due to the mist. She has freckles all over her face and various scars as well. One that goes across her nose, one on her left cheek, and one near the bottom left side of her mouth. She is about 5 feet and 6 inches. She's more often seen wearing things like sweaters and jeans, and handmade clothing that her grandmother makes her.

Personality: Coral is extremely energetic, even when she hasn't slept for days, and it's almost like she consumes gallons of sugary drinks. She doesn't. She's generally nice to people she likes. To people she doesn't know well, she's a bit of a bitch. While not a fan of violence in general, she is one of the first people you'll see at a big fight. What can I say? She likes the drama that comes with these fights and it happens to be her favorite source of entertainment. Every once in a while, she enjoys a nice cup of gossip with her friends with a side of shit talking about people she dislikes. She has a short temper, and you're more likely to see her angry at someone or something.

Backstory: Coral had a normal childhood, or as normal as it could be when her mom was a famous Mexican actress. For the first couple years of her life, she was sorta raised by her grandparents and a family friend who she ended up calling Tío Bruno (spoiler alert: Tío Bruno is not actually a family friend). Her mother took a break from acting and spent most of her time raising her daughter. Beatriz ended up marrying a photographer named Agustín Gonzales, adopted a boy named Antonio Fuentes, and then the family moved to a Hispanic neighborhood in New Jersey. She was enrolled in a fancy private school named Northview Academy. Skip forward three or four years later, a monster attacks Coral and her brother a week before school is over, and their friend Oliver turns out to be a Satyr. Oliver takes the siblings to Camp Half-Blood where they currently reside full-time.
(Yes, Beatriz does know where her children are. Yes, she knows how to get to them and yes she took the whole thing of gods and goddesses existing pretty well. And so did the grandparents….but it seems that a certain abuela already knew all about it….)

Other: She can speak Spanish and English. She will curse at you in Spanish if you get her really really mad.

Personality: Reo has always been introverted, preferring to be on his own in his room, or outside on a nice day with his books. He’s soft spoken and almost never raises his voice above a whisper. He never has the heart to be rude to anyone, no matter what they do and finds himself in awkward situations when someone’s being rude to him and he just smiles, dips his head and says nothing. This usually put people off, and they would leave him alone.
He has a big heart, and will forgive anyone at the words ‘I’m sorry’. He’ll do this with anyone, even with people who have used this to manipulate him, always wanting to believe in the best of people. He also has a weak spot for hurt things, animals and people alike and will put himself in danger to save another.
He can be socially awkward and quiet, even for himself, sometimes he gets a stutter and doesn’t speak clearly. This doesn’t happen often, and really only happens when he’s uncomfortable or embarrassed.
When he falls in love, he falls hard and doesn’t fall out of it.

Background:

Camp Half-Blood is a camp designed to protect the half-mortal offspring of the Greek pantheon. It has stood there for years on Long Island, New York, out of the view of mortals. Only those of god blood can pass the boundary. It is a place of refuge for children. It is a place where they are safe from monsters and are able to learn about and how to use their powers. It is where they are trained to protect themselves in the inevitability they outgrow the camp or in the chance they are sent out on quests for the gods. It is a dangerous world for demigods and what better way to train than capture the flag!

Capture the Flag was a popular game among the campers. They either loved it or they hated it, there really was no in-between. This was a chance for the children of Athena and Ares to dominate the field. The two cabins were always put on opposite teams. The one time they were accidentally put on the same, well, let's just say the other team all ended up in the infirmary and the Apollo children were working overtime to get everyone patched up. It wasn't Chiron's brightest idea and it was never done again. This year was no different. Cabins Athena and Ares were placed on separate teams and made cabin leaders of their teams. Chiron tried to separate the cabins so each team was of equal strength but there would always be a bit of unbalance. But strength wasn't always the winning reason. Strategy and deceit could very well be the reason a team won. They just had to know their opponent and know how to strike.

Blue Team: Athena, Aphrodite, Hermes, Iris, Nemesis, Hebe, Posideon, Demeter, and Tche

Red Team: Ares, Zeus, Hades, Nike, Dionysus, Hephastus, Hypnos, Hecate, and Apollo

The rules are simple, no one leaves the forest without getting disqualified. No serious maiming or intent to kill. Other than that, everything is on the table. Red team's flag will be hidden by Zeus's rock and blue team's flag will be hidden by the river. Let the games begin!
