He searched again. "Maybe he hasn't put the mirror in yet."
He searched again. "Maybe he hasn't put the mirror in yet."
(hi sorry I had to weld) The lights flickered again, and the mirror reappeared in the pocket
He finally got ahold of it, and brought it out. "Okay, Lavender, your turn."
Lavender hesitated. "So I just teleport out? where will I land?"
"In the exact same spot, just in a different universe," he said, patting her back gently. "You'll be fine, don't worry."
Lavender swallowed.
Thirty seconds later, she was standing next to Michael.
Asura reached into the dimensional pocket again, retrieving the mirror. He turned to Matthias. "Alright mister, it's your turn now."
Michael looked at Lavender. "Oh hello. Wanna see something cool?" He snapped his finger, and a sort of wall that showed Asura and Matthias appeared
Matthias sighed and stepped forward. He tipped an invisible hat to Asura. "See ya on the other side buckaroo." He put his hand up to the mirror and only second later he was next to Michael and Lavender.
Kavender's eyes widened. "Whoah…."
Asura was left alone there, holding the golden compact mirror in his hands. He turned it over a few times, opening and closing it. With a deep breath, he reflected his energy on the mirror, and ended up standing next to the rest of the people in what seemed to be a completely abandoned cafe. He looked around. "I think this somewhat worked," he said.
(hello, just responding so this rp gets bumped up a little)
(isn't it your turn to respond tho?)
(right yeah that's a thing. humor me I'm tired) Michael looked around. "Uh, yeah. Looks like it did. Now what's the plan?"
(then you should go to sleep)
Asura flipped the mirror shut and put it in his own dimensional pocket. "Now we can leave the cafe… but I have no idea how to get the hell out of this universe."
(also what were going to do about Maudie?)
(I was thinking Maudie could pop up with a final trial. maybe we could all get trapped in different rooms, maybe even temporarily stuck in true forms?) Michael shrugged. "Hell if I know. I don't even remember why I showed up here in the first place. I think I had the munchies or something, either way I don't remember how to get out."
Asura gave him a look. "Alright, well I guess we're going to have to figure it out," he said, stepping forward.
(okay idk how we'll do that but it sounds like a good idea)
(who's supposed to be Maudie again?) Michael walked over to the counter. Something seemed a little off about this dimension despite it looking identical to the one they were just in. "Maybe we could…I don't know. Walk through the front door?"
(anybody can control her)
"We could try. I mean, parallel universes don't have guardians, so it should be fine."
Michael walked up to the front door. He put a hand on the handle and closed his eyes. "Please don't have a guardian, please don't have a guardian," he said quietly as he pulled on the door handle. Slowly, he cracked an eye open. The door hand opened, but some girl was standing in the way. "Uh…About that 'parallels don't have guardians' thing…"
Asura leaned to the side from behind Michael to get a better view. He squinted. "Maudie?"
Michael looked at Asura, then at Maudie, then back at Asura. He stepped backwards. "Naw man, nuh-uh, nope, I'm out, not getting gutted today no sir," he said, putting his hands up comically as he started to walk in the other direction
Maudie snapped her fingers, freezing everybody in place. "None of you are going anywhere. We haven't played the last game."
Michael, upon realizing he couldn't move, decided the best option was to use his powers to make "we're dead" appear in bubble letters above his head
Matthias mentally cursed, he had hoped that she forgot about that. He sighed in exasperation and gritted his teeth, flexing his jaw in frustration.
