“I told you it was beautiful.” Liam said, sitting down on the bench, “You’re the first person I’ve ever shown this place too.”
“I told you it was beautiful.” Liam said, sitting down on the bench, “You’re the first person I’ve ever shown this place too.”
"Really? Well, I'm honored," Kasey said with a smile as she walked over to the bench. She gestured toward it and asked, "May I?"
Liam nodded, “Of course you may.” He said, a smile on his face.
Kasey sat next to Liam on the bench. She hadn't been notified of a single robbery or other threat all day; she hadn't even thought about it since they arrived.
"Thank you for bringing me here," she said sincerely, turning so that she was facing Liam. "It's nice to get away from everything for at least a little while."
Liam turned a little and cross one leg over the other, smiling as he looked st her, admired her.
“It’s no problem. I figured with college and all that we could both use a break. This place always seems to have a calming feeling to it.”
Kasey felt her cheeks warm slightly as she saw the way Liam looked at her, and she glanced down, tucking her hair behind her ear self-consciously. A small smile played on her lips as she turned and looked around at the garden.
"It's wonderful," she whispered.
You’re wonderful. Liam thought and nearly said. He couldn’t stop looking at her.
“It is, yeah. Thank you for coming with me.”
(Sorry my responses are kinda slow. I'm stressed out, so I'm trying to calm down…)
Kasey faced him again, that cursed blush still coating her cheeks as she smiled.
"No, thank you for inviting me. You have no idea how much I needed this."
(Aw, okay that’s fine. Take all the time you need to calm down)
Liam smiled softly as he studied her face, took in her beauty.
“It’s no problem. Feel free to come here all you want. It’s as much your place as it is mine.”
Kasey smiled at him for a moment more, then looked out over the garden again.
"How did you find this place?" she asked, curious.
Liam shrugged, “Well… I was walking round here taking photos when I Uh… I might have fallen through the bush on accident and found it.” He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Are you serious?" Kasey questioned, feeling laughter bubbling up inside her. She giggled as she imagined it.
Liam nodded, “Sadly I am. I just… tripped and fell backwards.” He said with a small sigh.
Kasey laughed louder. "Oh my gosh…"
Liam nudged her with an elbow, “Oh hush, it’s not that funny.”
"It is, too!" Kasey argued, still laughing. She poked Liam in the side. "I mean, you fell through a bush! How is that not funny?"
Liam rolled his eyes but laughed a little, “Alright, alright. It’s slightly funny.”
"Yeah, only slightly," Kasey laughed, poking him again.
“Fine, maybe a lot funny.” He grumbled.
"Oh, come on, Liam. Laugh a little," Kasey said, grinning. "It's not everyday that you get to just enjoy being around something as beautiful as this place."
And with someone as beautiful as you.
Liam smiled, “Yeah, suppose you’re right. I’m glad kinda glad I fell through the bush otherwise we wouldn’t be here.”
(Sorry! My wifi got turned off…)
"I'm glad you fell through the bush, too," Kasey agreed, returning his smile. She glanced down at her watch and breathed a slight sigh of relief; she didn't have to be back for an hour. "So, Liam, what's your favorite thing to do? Besides write, that is."
Liam rubbed the back of his neck, “Well, star gazing or drawing I think.” He replied. He knew they were kind of lame but he didn’t mind.
"Really? I love star gazing. The stars are just so beautiful, and when you can see part of the Milky Way it's like you realize just how much beauty is in this world…" Kasey trailed off with a sigh, leaning back and looking at the sky.
(My sister is torturing me with One Direction songs… I do t like her sometimes…)
(Dang that sucks)
Liam hummed in agreement, “I agree, i love studying them and leaning about them, finding new constellations and watching stars being born…”
