Unfortunately, Adrik happened to be Adrielle's victim, and he squeaked as he went down, just barely managing to save himself from hitting his face on the ground. He quickly flipped on his back, eyes wide as he looked around, trying to find the source of the thing that had tripped him and finding nothing
Eliza's senses peel again and she looks around, "Why did you fall?"
"S-Something tripped me!" Adrik exclaimed indignantly, and he quickly got to his feet as he resisted the urge to start running. Now that he got a better look at all these people, they were starting to look familiar…familiar like the people his dad used to work with, and that was something he wanted no part of
"You Avenger kids attract trouble like nobody's business." Kiania mused, looking around for whatever, or whoever, had tripped the guy. Though, she was being slightly hypocritical. As the daughter of a prominent member of the X-men, and a hero herself, she did tend to attract trouble easy.
"A-Avengers?" Adrik stammered, eyes wide. Suddenly, he pulled a sizeable pocket knife out of his sweatpants, brandishing it menacingly. "You had better stay the hell away! I don't want anything to do with the people who nearly killed my dad!"
Eliza narrows her eyes again and closes them. She ket her spidey senses run wild again but there was nothing. She looks up at the boy again and walk over toward him, helping him up but always looking around, "put the knife away. Before you take someone's eye out.We arent going to hurt you " her voice was stern but gentle
"Not an Avenger here, can you please not stab me?" Kiania said, raising a hand and an eyebrow. "I'm still getting over last week."
Adrik flinched away when he was touched, and though he didn't put the knife away, he at least held it away from everyone. "You're only saying that to recruit me to something, huh? Just like you did to my dad?" he sneered
"Excuse me? No. We arent." Her eyes bore into his as she glares at him. She didnt let go of his shoulder either
(Okay, sorry I've been off so much! Can someone catch me up please?)
((Artemis, Eliza, and Kiania met in the forest, and then ran into Adrik, who's feelin' stabby))
(feeling stabby is accurate lmao)
Adrik just glowered at her, and after a moment he wiggled his shoulder in an attempt to dislodge the hand on it. People touching him was crossing a line, and he was getting irritated
(Lol yeah
Eliza pulls her hand back but otherwise doesnt move a muscle, "Put the knife away. If we where going to hurt you or any of the sort we would have done so by now. So just take a chill pill. Er whatever"
Nat stayed hidden behind her tree, watching the group in her clearing. Her eyes were narrowed suspiciously at them as they talked.
Adrik wanted to stab her just for telling him to "take a chill pill," but refrained, slowly putting the knife away and setting it away safely in his pocket
Eliza takes a deep breath of relief and chuckles slightly, "Ok cool." She smiles at him slightly as she relaxes, "So. Bucky Barnes huh?"
Adrik just sighed, looking down at the ground. "Yeah…" he mumbled. There wasn't any getting around it, really, especially with how similar to his father he looked
“Now that the knives are out of the picture, can we commence the introductions? My name is Artemis Strange. Speaking of famous fathers, Dr. Steven Strange happens to be one half of my parental set.” Artemis said, sticking out her hand for a shake. With a second thought, she drew her hand back to her side.
Eliza smiles slightly and nods, "I think I only introduced myself to you guys so." She turns to face The boy again, "I'm Elizabeth Parker. Peter Parker's daughter." She explains
Adrielle watched from a tree, and smirked slightly. Blowing her hair from her face, she rolled her eyes as the guy she had tripped pulled out a knife. As if that could do anything to protect you, she thought with a scoff.
Children of the Avengers! Nat drop stepped and turned to run, but she stepped on a twig accidentally. Shit! she cursed herself.
Adrielle snapped her head towards the direction on the twig snapping and snarled. Someone was there.
Nat ducked behind the nearest tree and hoped no one had seen her. What are the children of the Avengers doing here? she quipped mentally.
Adrielle climbed silently from the tree she had been in and moved towards the noise, silently.
Nat's eyes darted around, searching for any sign of movement. Any sign of an attack.
