"You want me to be underfoot? So always annoying and in the way? Done." Aron replied, going limp again.
"You want me to be underfoot? So always annoying and in the way? Done." Aron replied, going limp again.
Celeste smiled, giggling.
"Don't worry, there's no need to." andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) cleared his throat, getting Celeste's attention. She looked over, a little guilty.
"We should get going," he said.
"Maybe she could come with us?" Celeste suggested.
The man scowled, back handing Aron across the face.
"You'll learn to keep your tongue," he spat.
"Before you find yourself without one."
Cicada looked over at andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer). She gave him a slight smile, "I won't be a bother, promise?"
Aron grunted softly at the back hand. "I'm sorry, princes don't curb their tongues." he replied.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) thought for a moment.
"It depends. Who's your Agent?" Celeste looked hopefully, going over stand next to her Author. She went back to flickering, their seeming idle state.
"News flash; you're not a prince here. You're even lower than slaves were. At least they were human. A quality you're lacking." The man dragged Aron down the hall, heading towards heavily reinforced metal doors.
"I am Human!" Aron snarled, still limp deadweight to make it harder for the man. "And I'm still a prince. My country is just…not here."
"You're country doesn't exist. You only exist because of your Author. You could just stop at any moment if they decided they didn't want you anymore." The man stopped in front of the doors, unlocking them and beginning to open them.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) thought for a moment.
"It depends. Who's your Agent?" Celeste looked hopefully, going over stand next to her Author. She went back to flickering, their seeming idle state.
"Agent A," Cicada responded with a slight grin.
"Ah, fuck you." Aron snarled. "I still think and feel separately from this goddamn Author you keep talking about."
Soldier K closed the door, locking it. After a few minutes, a figure appeared in the middle of the training door; a woman, with long black hair and a white dress.
"Let's get this going, shall we?" A chipper voice sounded through the intercom in the room.
Wonderful. Well, not you're duty is rot in this cell. A fit of laughter could be heard from the other side of the wall. It seems whoever was talking to Noel was a prisoner as well.
Syzen smirked a bit, stretching and yawning.
”I’ve been wanting to get this going since I stepped in” he regarded with a smile.
Noel eyed the wall where the voice came from a bit.
(Can I just…?)
The tall man had been standing in front of the cafe for a while now. He understood that she probably had her things to do so he didn’t really mind waiting. He had two more weeks before leaving the US so if she couldn’t come today for some reason, he could just schedule the meeting for another time.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) immediately smiled.
"Agent A and I are good friends. She'll let you come with us. You'd best ask her first, though."
"Is that what you think?" The man asked, opening the door fulling and dragging Aron in.
"Well, you're wrong. Everything you do is tied to your Author, and there's nothing that can change that."
The woman in the middle of the room nodded. She had two sweeties by her side, but she didn't draw them yet. Instead, she rushed Syzen, riding a sudden burst of wind to go even faster.
After a few seconds of laughter, the writing continued.
Tell me, do you think you'll ever be able to leave this cell?
A military vehicle pulled up near the cafe, Coral opening the passenger door and hoping out.
"Thanks for the ride M!" She said, waving as she slammed the door shut. The vehicle pulled away, and Coral ran up. She'd told her boyfriend about her internship at a government facility, but not much else besides that. Now, though, she was still trying to think of a way to tell him about his characters.
"Hi~!" She called out.
"Through the notebook right?" Cicada said looking down to the notebook and getting ready to right.
"Yes," andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) nodded. Both Crow and Celeste were smiling a little.
Cicada quickly wrote down int he notebook hoping for a quick response, Hey A, Mind if I go out with Soldier A and Crow/Celeste?
The response came after a few seconds.
As long as you stay with them. Do everything A tells you to. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) glanced over, nodding. He had expected that answer.
"You ready?"
Cicada grinned and nodded putting the notebook away on the bed, "Yep. Let's go."
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) nodded, heading down the hall in the opposite direction of the holding room and agents. In fact, the direction was the one the entrance was in. Crow and Celeste walked next to Cicada, behind their Author.
Cicada looked around making mental notes of everything around her. She had a smile on her face as she looked over at Celeste, "So how long have you been in this world?"
"A couple years," Celeste said, no longer flickering to Crow since Cicada was taking directly to her.
"That's when he came to work here! He brought us over, and and we escaped to get to him. He was offered either a job or being a wanted man, so he accepted the job."
"Really?" Cicada raised an eyebrow, "It was work for the government or become wanted. That's not great options in my opinion."
"Well, it is technically illegal for us to be here, but the government doesn't have a way to keep us from coming or sending us back. Still, the government recognizes that anyone who manages to get their character to themselves could be a good ally." Celeste shrugged a little.
"I see," Cicada nodding a long before frowning, "They don't know how to get us back to our home worlds? I have friends there who will tear through anything to find me. Assuming they don't think I'm dead again."
"The only one who could send you back is your Author. That's how this works, really. They decide what happens to you." Celeste shrugged.
"There's not much we characters can do about things…" Her peppy energy faded for a moment, but it came back a moment later.
"Why haven't you gone back then?" Cicada asked slightly curious avoiding the fact she was a character. It didn't sit right with her, "I mean you found your author."
