Aron's body went still for a moment, freezing up for just a second, and then he was standing, yanking his arm from the soldier's grasp. "Don't touch me." He growled.
Aron's body went still for a moment, freezing up for just a second, and then he was standing, yanking his arm from the soldier's grasp. "Don't touch me." He growled.
Agent A stood, holding a hand out to help Cicada up.
"That's how most are here. Just keep your head low and you'll be fine."
Cicada stood up and smiled at her, "That'll be hard for me, but I'll try."
"What, you mean like this?" The man reached out, grabbing Aron's arm and pulling him close.
"Don't forget where you are, charie. You hold no power over an Author."
"I'll check in occasionally to see how you're doing. If you behave well enough, I could get you out to the city in… three days. Think you can manage that?" Agent A smiled, leading Cicada out the door and back down the hall with the other cells.
Cicada gave her a big grin as she followed after Agent A observing the halls, "I can definitely try to. Trouble tends to find me though, but I'll do my best."
Aron looked at the soldier, lips in a thin line. "Don't. Touch me." He growled, snatching his arm away and glaring at the soldier, eyes narrowed.
The Agent skimmed through several sections of the paper, glancing up occasionally to verify his appearance.
"Power Set?" She said once she had gone through the sections before. She didn't really care about his personality.
"Ten minutes, depending on how well the character cooperates. It should be over soon."
”Manifestation, I can basically stick parts of myself— my cells— to different surfaces that’ll create some weird organism. I’m the summoner-type, basically” Noel tried to explain his powers but knew full well that his was one of the hardest to explain.
”Gotcha” the Constellation warrior nodded, still tapping his foot.
"That's a common trait here," Agent. A said with a chuckle. She stood in front of a door labeled AACF20. Agent A opened the door, revealing a moderately accommodating cell. It looked more like a simple bedroom, a bathroom off to the side.
"This is your's," the Agent said with a smile.
The man pulled away for a moment, sighing.
"We're done here," he said, a finality in his voice.
"Time for you to see your new home." One last time, he grabbed Aron's arm, pulling towards the door.
"Test me one more time, I dare you," the man said simply, smirking a little.
Agent U examined her page, nodding a little with pursed lips.
"Strengths and Weaknesses," she said next.
The door labeled L, right next to the one Noel was behind, opened, revealing a man in a black suit and sunglasses dragging another man, who was bound in chains like Syzen.
"…I dare you," the man said with a smirk.
Cicada looked around the cell and let out a laugh, "I suppose. This isn't the best I've seen but this is also better than most cells I've been in."
Agent A chuckled softly.
"It's one of the better ones here, even. You were very cooperative." She ushered Cicada in, her bonds falling away once again.
The man pulled away for a moment, sighing.
"We're done here," he said, a finality in his voice.
"Time for you to see your new home." One last time, he grabbed Aron's arm, pulling towards the door.
"Test me one more time, I dare you," the man said simply, smirking a little.
Aron growled, yanking away again. His golden eyes were narrowed, and he glared at the soldier beneath lowered brows.
The man snarled a little.
"K!" He snapped. One of the soldiers in the hall with them, the younger one, came forward. Now, both men grabbed onto Aron, the new soldier kicking at Aron's knees.
Agent A chuckled softly.
"It's one of the better ones here, even. You were very cooperative." She ushered Cicada in, her bonds falling away once again.
Cicada gave her another grin as she rubbed where the bonds had once been, "Aw thank ya! I would say it helped you were very kind."
”I’m productive and talented in most fields of education — I hate working with other people” Noel answered, now crossing his legs out of pure boredom.
Syzen smirked a bit.
”Oh, you’re daring me? Let’s see I guess” he headed towards the door, looking inside before heading in.
The man snarled a little.
"K!" He snapped. One of the soldiers in the hall with them, the younger one, came forward. Now, both men grabbed onto Aron, the new soldier kicking at Aron's knees.
Aron grunted as his knees were kicked out from under him, and he started to struggle again, kicking and struggling.
"Many would be surprised by the wonders a positive attitude can do." Agent A sighed one last time before steeping out of the room.
"If you need anything, just write it down on that notepad, okay?" She pointed to a notepad laying on Cicada's bed.
"Even if you just need someone to talk to. Things can get really boring around here."
There wasn't much in the room, just a desk and two chairs. The most notable thing would be the second drawer on the left hand side of the desk, which was over stuffed with papers. However, there were three other drawers, their contents unknown.
"Ese!" The man from the interrogation said. A short woman appeared in a flash of yellow, wielding a Bo staff. All three worked to restrain Aron, dragging him down the hall to the hall of cells.
Aron kept squirming and struggling against them, though he knew he didn't have a hope against all three people. His golden eyes were narrowed, his armor looking damaged now.
Cicada nodded and walked over to the notepad. She picked it up and looked at the agent, "I assume whatever I write on this gets copied on yours? If so then I hope your ready to get a shit ton of random thoughts and doodles."
Eventually, they reached a cell labeled ALAVW22. The soldier who had been called K slammed the door open to reveal a cramped, poorly lit cell, as had been promised. The three tossed Aron inside, his chains not falling away.
"Enjoy your time here at Area 51," the man who had questioned Aron said, slamming the door shut.
"In a way, yes," Agent A said with a smile, laughing.
"That's okay with me. It's better than most of those assigned to me write."
Cicada laughed with her, "I would think so! Um, could you maybe do one thing for me? There was another boy with me in the original holding area, Aron, he seemed skittish and I doubt he took this whole thing as well as I sort of am. If you could check on him for me that would be nice."
Aron clenched his jaw tightly, sitting on the floor of the cell and taking a deep breath. –walls were closing in he couldn't breathe he couldn't breathe he was trapped crushed going to die he was going to die here– He took another deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
"Ah- sure thing! I remember hearing about someone named that, I think a visit would be a very good idea." With that, Agent A closed the door, walking down the hall.
After a few minutes of complete silence, there was a knock at Aron's door, with opened slowly.
"Hello?" A woman said, poking her head in.
"Are you Aron?"
Cicada let out a slight nod and went to sit on the bed. She let out a shaky breath and relaxed. It seemed she had made the right choice, but now she was stuck here in a cell.
After a few minutes of complete silence, there was a knock at Aron's door, with opened slowly.
"Hello?" A woman said, poking her head in.
"Are you Aron?"
Aron looked up, eyes narrowed. He had managed to back himself into the corner, facing the doorway. "Yes." he replied, forcing himself to sound as calm as he could.
There wasn't much in the the cell; a bed, a desk, and a chair. The desk had two drawers, both slightly open. There was also the notebook and the pen, and a very plain and dull bathroom.
The woman pursed her lips a little when she saw the condition both Aron and the room were in. She stepped in slowly.
"I'm Agent A. The character Cicada asked me to check on you." She knelt down next to Aron.
"Here, let me take those off," she said kindly, meaning the chains holding Aron.
Aron flinched away a little bit, watching her from beneath lowered eyebrows. It was all he could do right now to stay in control. Stay sane.
