(I'm sorry to hear that… That must've been terrible. As long as you're doing alright now, though, that's good.)
Vida swallowed really hard. "Well… not much, after you left. They just made a final decision to send him. They may have talked about things later, outside of the meeting."
"So, they didn't say anything about a time limit? Like, how long are they going to let him stay there by himself?" Him going by himself was best, but they had to have talked about what would happen if things turned bad.
(…… I refuse to let this die.)
(Yeah, I agree)
“Well… Cyrus kept saying all this stuff about how he would do everything in his power to keep Uriah safe. But I don’t know what he meant by that,” Vida replied.
(Hey guys!! I feel super happy that yall want to keep this alive lol. I'm probably ly going to leave constantly because I havent been the brightest lately and I'd like to blame my depressed state on this constantly shifting weather. I have to work harder in my classes because I'm failing 2 of them and I need to pass them in order to graduate. Yall can just drag along Nathan and Sparrow if I'm not here)
"Let's just hope Uriah knows what he's doing. He is the least experienced of everyone here." It was worrying, but he was the best choice since Panther knew everyone else's faces. "Well, we better practice more." She pulled out her wrist shooter and shot at a dummy.
Uriah had ate but the sun was still up and he was getting restless. It was annoying having to sit there, so he decided to pack up and walk a bit further. As he did so he heard something in a bush near by and hid behind a tree.
Vida shuddered as Esmae shot at the dummy. Something about those kinds of weapons, especially ones that shot bolts and the like, unsettled her. She drew further away from Esmae and plopped down at one of the tables, laying her head down behind her arms and peeking over them with one eye.
Sparrow brought a small pair of gloves for Nathan. Made of a breathable leather and embellished with different studs and beads, these gloves werent only for show. With the ability to have metal talon fingers and different tools appear, they were useful when it came to lockpicking, taking things apart, putting things togather, lighting a small fire, climbing, and other small situations. Nathan took the gloves and immediately put them on. "Thanks!!" He beamed at Sparrow.
At the guild, he was mainly trained in martial arts because of his small and thin body. He walked up to Sparrow and poked her leg "hey, hey, hey." He said after every second poke. Annoyed with this excessive mind-numbing feeling, sparrow looked down in question. "Can we train some time soon?" He asked
Esmae walked over and picked up the ninja star that she shot. "I think… I might go out to the forest for a while and really use these things." While walking towards the doors she hooked her two huge ninja stars to her back. "Anyone want to join?"
Vida stood back and kind of shook her head.
"I-I'm fine," she said weakly, "I think I'll… probably take a nap or something."
That wasn't true. She just wanted to get away from sharp blades and weapons for a bit.
"Be careful Esmae. Unless you want me to come with you?" Sparrow asked
"I don't need adult supervision, thanks." She turned to look back at everyone. "I can take care of myself." Without saying another word she walked out. Turning down many hallways she finally made it to the exit and went out to the forest.
Sparrow shrugged "Suit yourself. i wasn't going to watch you anyways." she mumbled and looked at the others in the room. "I have a small training course that i sometimes do. Do any of y'all want to come?" she asked.
Nathan looked up with bright eyes, clenching his fists "Yeah! I want to try climbing trees with these!"
Vida hesitated before asking.
“What kind of training course?”
She swayed a little bit where she stood.
Kicking a few rocks under her feet. "Well looks like I still have a long way to go." In the distance Esmae saw a figure of a dog. "Freedom?" As she got closer, she saw the dog looking off into the forest. "Are you sad?" Esmae took off her wrist shooter and sat down. "To be honest, so am I."
(Awwww idk why, but that just makes my heart hurt)
(Thank you! Sorry my writing has been so bad lately.)
(i wish i could join but i am not that consistent so…)
Katya listened in and looked to Sparrow after Vida had spoken, She echoed Vida's words, "What kind of training course?"
(i wish i could join but i am not that consistent so…)
(you could but idk how the others would feel about a newbie at this point)
(i could be a rouge that turns ally)
"It's more of a adventure course. there are platforms in the trees and different areas to spar. I built it with a few other from the guild before i left for the One-year trip with Uriah." She explained
Vida's eyes widened. "That sounds like fun!"
She wasn't so much for sparring, but obstacle courses and such were good.
"I'll come with you!"
