Looking in the mirror was like looking at a stranger. The hair, the clothes, everything was different. He pulled on his gloves and grabbed the two short swords Sparrow made and put them in the sheaths on his back then pulled his backpack on after. The halls seemed longer today, it was going to be hard to say goodbye but it wouldn't be forever. The door came into view and he waited a few minutes for his friends to show up. Although, he did think about leaving without saying anything so that it would be easier for him, but then he thought about them and it would be selfish of him to do that.
Luna was at the door a moment later. Uriah looked completely different then he used to. She took a calming breath before walking up to him, "H-Hey Uriah."
Sparrow was with Uriah and stared at the stranger he had become. His hair was now shorter and darker, making him look like a coldblooded male. She sighed me walked closer to where he and Luna were talking
(Ohhhhhh, I was worried Luna was the stranger.)
(Lol I realized that after )
"Hey Luna." Saying hello to just say goodbye felt weird. "Where's Cy?" Uriah looked around, he couldn't leave without saying goodbye to everyone. (Sorry its short. I'm a bit busy.)
Luna looked around and shrugged a little, "I-I don't know."
Cyrus finally made it to where his friends were. He was still using a crutch to help him get around, but he was at least a little more used to it and in a bit less pain.
He looked at Uriah, his leaf-green eyes kind of dull and sad.
"Hey… so you're leaving? I put together some stuff for you that might help along the way."
(Hey I forget, what were their skills? Sparrow made weapons, what about the others??
(Luna shot stuff. Pew, pew.)
(Hah, Cyrus is just listed as being skilled in tactics, although being skilled at healing and anything that requires a bit more thinking and not physical skill just seems to be up his alley.)
(She was skilled and being quiet, scary, and going pew pew.)
(Uriah is pretty good at tactics, but his main skill is swordsmanship.)
"Yep, off to go on my first official mission." Uriah joked hoping to keep the mode light, although, he was sure it wasn't going to work. His heart was heavy. Maybe this was the feeling I was getting at my party?
Luna put on a smile for Uriah. She was worried beyond belief, the first time anyone had gone back to that dreaded place since Alex and Luna had returned. She didn't want anyone to have to go, "U-Uriah. P-Please promise to be safe."
"Well, look… I know you don't plan on going out there and getting hurt, but if you do? Well… I want to make sure you live to tell the tale, so I made you a first aid kit. It's got bandages, disinfectants, salves, and some other stuff you could potentially need. And well… if things get dirty and you need to kill but be subtle, I packed you a few vials of poison and venom. They're all labeled and have brief descriptions and instructions."
Cyrus moved the bag slung over his shoulder so Uriah could take it.
"Just take what you can carry before you leave."
He was trying to not think about his emotions, but instead focus on what they could do to keep Uriah safe, and what he would need to do well on the mission.
Sparrow looked at Uriah "do you have the device?" She asked, referring to the walkie talkie type thing he gave her
Uriah took the bag and looked to Sparrow. "Yep, it's right here." He patted his pants pocket. "I'm going to miss you all. Let's just hope this mission doesn't take to long." Uriah held his arms out for a group hug. His ride would be here soon to drop him off where he needed to be, then he would have to go by foot. It is going to take about one day to get there.
Luna was the first to rush in and hug Uriah. She didn't want him to go, maybe she was strong enough to just lift him up and carry him back into the guild.
(Luna is me)
Sparrow rushed in after Luna and hugged uriah.
