Luna didn't respond, she was scared. She could mess everything up, she could end up losing more people close to her, or she could just isolate herself even more. So many things could go wrong, and everyone already had their space. Luna couldn't just squeeze herself in there.
“You’re already one of us… I hope one day you can feel like you are,” Cyrus said, “Don’t be afraid… these bonds make us stronger, you know.”
"Y-Yeah, I guess," Luna muttered. Her bonds still felt frayed and worn down. Only really Cyrus and maybe Uriah's felt strong enough to actually be called one. She would just have to spend more time with the others.
"Stay there, I'll be right up." He started to climb building which made his arms burn since he was punching the punching bag earlier. Once he was there he was a bit out of breath. "Why are you out here all alone?"
Sparrow shrugged sheepishly "I was bored and decided to come up here. I've been feeling trapped ever since we came back. Makes me wonder if it was really necessary that we came back." She sighed and lay back down, against the roof. "I was thinking of leaving for a few weeks on a solo trip to an undisclosed location. Not immediately, but in a few days. At most, 2 weeks." She said
"You should ask Sparrow to hang out sometime. I think she'd be a good place to start," Cyrus said, "And of course, I'm always available, too, if you don't feel comfortable yet."
His hands were at his side as he still watched Alex from a distance. Everything seemed okay, he thought.
Luna thought about it and nodded. She had a slight look of determination in her eyes, "O-of course. I-I'll ask her at some point. Th-thank you Cyrus."
Cyrus smiled. "No need to thank me for just doing the right thing. You deserve a place to call home, Luna. You really do. Even if that 'place' is just a ragtag group of assassins who love you dearly."
Luna laughed slightly before she let out a small sigh, "W-well when you put it like that, I-I do. D-don't I?"
"Everyone does," Cyrus replied, "Especially you. You've been nothing but good and helpful to us."
"I-I wouldn't say that," Luna said quietly looking back down at the floor. She tugged at her hood to hide her face more.
"Sure you have," Cyrus insisted, "You haven't done anything wrong. At least not through my eyes. Give yourself some credit. I swear all of you need to… Panther beat the self-esteem out of everyone here."
He looked away from her face so she didn't feel like she had to hide it.
"H-he really d-did," Luna could feel her stutter starting to return with some force. She took controlled breaths before continuing, "A-are the o-others doing b-better?"
(If Luna was any younger, I think we would have adopted her as a group lol)
(Lol, I mean she is still technically a child.)
(How old is she right now?)
(Oh, speaking of which, I was thinking of having a kid or 3 appear t the new guild asking for protection because "evil people in black are afterme/us")
(Lol, let's see what the others say and then well se the rwsy)
(Sounds good to me! Would these be player characters or random kids?)
Cyrus nodded. "I think so… I haven't talked to Sparrow as much as I should have since she got back, if I'm being honest. I should probably catch up some more later, make sure she's doing fine."
"W-we can all t-talk together," Luna said looking up slightly, "C-catch up with everything. Si or no?"
(Depends, do we want to play the kids individually or have them be a free for all?)
"That's a good idea, actually," Cyrus said. He figured that at least talking to Sparrow would be a lot less awkward when he was among other friends, and that along the way, he could start talking to Alex some, and help Luna get better accustomed to being part of the group. Nothing bad could become of that.
Luna smiled up at him as she nodded once again, "Gracias. S-so should we w-wait? O-or go r-right now. C-cause I'm fine with either."
"Let's see what everyone else thinks. Alex is still bedridden, and I'm not letting him leave until we're sure that he's okay," Cyrus said, "In that case, we can just talk here, which wouldn't be so hard. Eira and Alex are here already."
